Sliquid Splash - sensual bath by Sliquid, LLC - review by ~LaUr3n~

This is one smart soap! It is from the makers of Sliquid Lubricants and is specially designed to not irritate and be effective at removing the odor causing bacteria that can hide in your vagina. It smells great, leaves your skin feeling smooth with out residue, and also adds a hint of fragrance. The bottle is generous and the price is right. Not only does it work wonders for your nether regions, it really can be used anywhere on the body. Not a lot is needed and it is really easy to use. And if that wasn't enough, they don't test on animals either!

The ingredients are as follows: Purified H2O, Sodium Coco sulfate, Coco betaine, Coco amide (derived from coconut oil), Sea salt, Citric acid, EGMS, Essential oil fragrances, DMDM hydantoin, FD&C red#40.

This is advertised as a "wash". It doesn't ever say if it is a gel, scrub, liquid, etc. In my opinion it is gel. It is thinner than most shampoos, however. I would compare it to some body washes. It comes out very easily and will run around a bit, not like a thick shampoo. The gel of my scent, Grapefruit and Thyme, is a pearlescent pink. It has a sort of light glimmer to it. It is actually really pretty. I wish the label did not cover so much of the bottle. It is very slick and easy to spread around, with or without water. With water it starts to get soapy and sudsy, but it doesn't really lather much. It will bubble, however.

This Splash is available in three scents, Grapefruit/Thyme, Cucumber/Honeydew, and Unscented. I got the grapefruit one because I really like citrus scents and love eating grapefruit. For those of you that do not know Thyme is part of a mint tree family. It is used in many aromas. The mint and grapefruit scents are very well balanced. It is also not overpowering or sickeningly strong. It will fill your bathroom with the scent, but it won't last for long. The same is true for your skin. I did notice that it does freshen things, but it isn't like a men's body wash that doubles as a cologne. I really like the scent even though it is not as strong as I would have hoped.

I love this stuff! For its intended purpose, you only need a dime size to really clean your feminine areas. It feels nice when it is applied too! I found that it created an excellent shaving surface. This is important to know because I did nick myself when I used this the first time. The Splash wash did not sting me at all. Shaving aside, I have not experienced any irritation at all. Sometimes regular soaps or body washes remove ALL of the bacteria down there. There actually is GOOD bacteria that thrives all over your body. (For example...did you know that your eyelashes have organisms on the end of each of them that some how keep them healthy? if it dies, your eyelashes lose moister. I do not claim to be the expert on this!)

Using this as an all over body wash works just fine too! If you are already washing one part of you, how annoying would it be to have to switch body washes? I do prefer my other body washes that lather more, but if this was all I had, I would not feel dirty or dissatisfied. Honestly, the performance of this product has turned me back onto Sliquid in general. It's a high quality product that leaves me feeling very clean, down there, and every where else. It doesn't make my skin feel grimy or dried out either. For the price, this is a deal!

The bottle is cute, whimsical, and innocent looking. It has a generous amount of gel in it! 8.5 fluid ounces to be exact. This bottle should last you a good amount of time. It comes in a plain clear plastic bottle. It has a push down to snap open top that dispenses the gel easily. It can also be screwed off and refilled or poured out faster.

The label is really cute and girly. There is a colorful and cartoonish picture of a female face next to the word Splash - gentle feminine wash. The purpose of Splash is written very small and discreetly. The bottle's label is a bright yellow and pink, so the colors will draw attention. The package is very informative. It explains the product and why it is good as a feminine wash, the ingredients, warnings, and that it is made in the USA.

I have not traveled with this since it is large. I did leave it on its side overnight, and it did not leak. Make sure to close it tightly if you are traveling with it.
