Pleasure wipes tub by GS Wipes - review by KristiS77

I use a lot of baby wipes and toilet wipes (basically the same thing) for after-play cleanup. I either don't have time for a shower after play or, if I've already had one, I just can't be bothered for a second shower. They have served me well, but I was curious to see how they compare to wipes meant specifically for after sex/play.

So while perusing the site, I see these Pleasure Wipes that are packaged in a tub similar to baby wipes--compact and with a top that's easily opened with a slight push. I note that they come in mango scent, but it's the vanilla scent that catches my eye. They're alcohol-free and contain aloe and vitamin E. Sounds soothing to me! So in my shopping cart they went.

Now, there are 25 wipes to a tub and at 8"X9" they are sizable--good for covering a lot of area. They do indeed smell like vanilla and are just on the edge of being cloying. Thankfully, the smell minimizes once the residue dries. They're nice and soft and thick. I do have an issue with the overview of these on EF's site. It claims that they are "X-absorbent," but there is nothing absorbent about these wipes. They are practically dripping wet. They are so wet in fact that you need to let yourself, uh, air out for a few minutes. I'm almost always getting dressed after using these, so I have to use something else to dry off the moisture. Not exactly handy but not the worst thing.

Despite the over-moistness, they do clean away lubes and natural lubrication and anything else that needs to be removed. I use them on my inner thighs, my external and internal vulva, and even my butt and I have not had any issues with irritation. I use them to the exclusion of baby wipes, but they're basically the same. The smell is very similar but the vanilla does make a difference. Oh, and the vanilla smell does linger on your skin.

I recommend these for people who are tired of baby wipes and want something different. Perhaps you have a baby and would like your own wipes with the scent distinction. Whatever your reason, these are quality wipes. I like them enough that I bought a second tub.
