Dona Body Polish is a body scrub made to get you clean, invigorate your senses, and exfoliate your skin, leaving it soft and lightly scented. Most of the scents are aimed at women, though some could be used by men, like the fruity scents. The best way to use this is on wet skin and with a loofa. Use it in the bath or shower. It is free of petrochemicals, phthalates, sulfates, triclosan, and parabens. It may also have an aphrodisiac effect on some people.

I have never used a scrub, or polish quite like this before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The texture of it is thick, like a body butter cream. It also very gritty, which is good because that is what helps to exfoliate your skin getting it soft and removing those dead skin cells. Since it is thick, it stays in place well. It feels like a thick, gritty body butter (lotion). It doesn't move around in the jar, you have to actually scoop some out with your fingers to get it out. It doesn't feel sticky, greasy or oily. It will not leave your shower floor slippery like some bath products do.

This is a body product- do not "taste" it. It smells great! The scent I am reviewing is Camu Camu. This particular scent is hard to describe, but it's my favorite. It smells light, slightly perfumy but not the kind that gives you a headache or smells like an old lady. It smells very pretty and feminine. It reminds of summer when I smell it, a bit like Shea butter mixed with vanilla. Sort of island scent (not tropical). I hope that helps some! To sum it up- it smells wonderful!

It is very light though, it doesn't fill up the whole bathroom like the bubble bath does. If you want to carry the scent around all day then you should use the roll on perfume and the body butter or lotion in the same scent.

This body polish works pretty well. It isn't harshly abrasive. It feels great when applying it to my skin with a loofa and massaging it around. It won't completely get rubbed in. What I mean by that is there will be a little grit left on your skin but the water washes it right off. It exfoliates pretty good and my skin does feel soft after I use it. The scent really is relaxing in the heat of the shower water. As far as being an aphrodisiac, I didn't feel anything other than relaxed by the scent.

The jar is nice, it allows you to get as much product out as you want and it also ensures that you get to use ALL of it. One thing about some products that bug me is that sometimes stuff gets stuck to the insides of the bottle/jar and no matter how many times and how hard you beat it to death, you can't get it all.
