The Principessa Shower Pouf is a nice little addition for a shower gift basket. Who does not love bath poufs? Use the lovely pink pouf to lather up your favorite body wash all over you body and help scrub away all the dirt, oil, and dead skin. Simply squirt on you body wash and rub the pouf over you skin, or even have your partner do it for you, and let the suds and cleanliness begin.

The bath pouf is made out of a mesh material that is both soft and rough at the same time. The material feels like a soft plastic, but it's netted material allows it to be more rough with pressure to be sure you are getting all the dead skin and dirt off of your body. Attached for a better hold is a cute little white ribbon with pink lettering of the Principessa logo on it to match the soft pink of the pouf.

For those who have never used a pouf, it is a different experience than just a simple wash cloth. Unlike wash clothes, the pouf allows the body wash to lather up in to soapier suds than an average wash cloth. You won't have to worry about reapplying a lot because it just soaks in to the cloth like a wash cloth. When applying, the body wash does lather very nicely and the pouf allows it to go a bit further than it would with a wash cloth. It also allows you to get a deeper and firmer scrub.

When I got the pouf, it did seem a little squished. But that's nothing to worry about. After use, it does puff out more to an even round shape and lasts for quite a while. I usually only have to replace my pouf every so many months because I prefer a clean fresh one, not because they are falling apart. They are very durable and hold up to firm uses.

Even though it is indeed pink, this can be used for both genders. Due to its color, it is more suggested for the female gender, but is not limited to. Anyone who wishes to have a lathering deep cleaning wash will enjoy this item. Adults and teens alike. Children can use them as well, though I suggest keeping out of hands of toddlers for you poufs sake.

Without any added wash, the pouf does not have a scent other than the basic new plastic scent. It does hold a bit of your body washes scent while using it and hold more the more you use it. They rise out very easily by just running under water or through the bath and squeezing the water out of the pouf to keep it fresh and clean. Being squishy, be sure it is dry and it will fit in your travel bathroom bag easily.

If you are looking for something with vibrations, look elsewhere. I notice it is rated with bees and vrooms by others, but this makes no vibrations or sounds as all other than the normal scrubbing.

I still love this pouf! It's holding up quite well and lathers nicely. It is still nicely in tact and holding its form.
