Pretty good, but I prefer the ball.

EOS is one of my all-time favorite companies for lip products. I love the various flavors that are available, and I love that these products actually seem to work. After using this product for a few months, my lips feel softer and nicer.

Use

EOS is one of my favorite company for lip balms. For a long while now, EOS's other lip balm (the one that comes in the ball/egg shaped container) has been my all-time favorite lip product. The trouble is, the egg container can be a real pain when it comes to sticking it in your pocket; the shape just doesn't fit nicely. So, when I discovered that EOS also sold a stick lip balm, I couldn't resist snatching it up.

So, moving forward, what is this for? Well, it's a lip balm. It's intended to hydrate your lips, while also making them feel healthy. It's great to use on chapped lips, though this specific lip balm is not medicated. I, personally, just use this product to make my lips feel and look soft, and it works wonderfully for that.

This lip balm can be used by absolutely anyone, no matter their age or gender.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lip balm goes on just like regular Chapstick. It is somewhat thicker than other Chapsticks, but it doesn't feel heavy. It goes on clear, which is nice because I'm not a big fan of lip balms that add color to my lips. It also makes my lips look soft, a little shiny, and smooth. It doesn't make my lips look or feel greasy at all.

Taste / Aroma

There are currently three flavors available on Eden's website: mint, vanilla, and pomegranate raspberry. This specific review is for the mint.

The mint lip balm smells just like you'd expect mint to. It also tastes just like mint. When I put this on, it makes me feel like my mouth is clean even if I haven't brushed my teeth in a few hours. It's just a clean, fresh feeling, which is accompanied by a nice, cool sensation. The cool sensation only lasts for a few minutes, but the fresh sensation seems to last for about half an hour.

Performance

This lip balm works well, though I do find that I have to reapply it a few times throughout the day. That is primarily because I enjoy the flavor, though. I've been using this stuff for months now, and my lips feel much softer than they used to, which is awesome.

If you do feel that you have to wash this off, just using water should do the trick.

Personal comments

This lip balm contains the following ingredients:
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Beeswax (Cire D’abeille), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Stevia Rebaudiana Leaf/Stem Extract, Tocopherol, Limonene, and Linalool.

Experience

As my title says, the stick lip balm is pretty good, but it just doesn't compare to the ball lip balm for me. Sure, the ball lip balm is slightly harder to apply, but it makes my lips feel smoother for longer. All in all, though, the stick balm is pretty damn good.
Follow-up commentary
I adore this lip balm in all of its flavors. I always have a tube of this on me, and I never want to be without it. It makes my lips feel nice and hydrated, yet never sticky and gross.
