AfterGlow toy and body wipes by DevineToys / AfterCare - review by clumsythumbs

For anyone who read my review of the NaughtiBod, you'll remember that I had an issue with the feeling of the toy during/after use. It took on a sticky quality that didn't feel so great. No big deal. That was remedied by a quick cleaning of the toy. But I really want to be good to my toys. After all, if I love them, they'll love me back. That was why I was looking for a way to keep my toys in mint condition. One of the things that I tried was the Afterglow wipes, and I was very impressed.

I tried the wipe out with both body fluids and lubricant and it tackled both with ease. The sticky feeling that was left behind was gone in only a few swipes. The cloth itself had a very light scent. I made sure to give it a quick sniff as soon as I opened one of the very stylish individual packages (if it didn't say "toy tissue" on the front, no one would assume this was a toy cleaner) and I almost didn't notice a fragrance at first. It just smelled very clean. These wipes are not going to give off a strong odor, but they're going to take care of anything you've left behind and erase any trace that it was there.

I made sure to use the wipe on both toy and body to see that it would do what it claimed and refresh both. This is where my only real concern came in. It felt great on my body; I had no gripes with that. However, I did notice that the cloth left behind moisture on the plastic of my toy and did not dry quickly at all. I kept an eye on it for a few moments, hoping to see it drying. When I didn't notice any changes, I just gave it a quick swipe with a clean, soft washcloth. I didn't want to risk anything happening to my toy by leaving it wet, even with a cleaner. I really wish that whatever was in those cloths would dry a little quicker. That would definitely make these wipes perfect for me.
