Use

The holiday handful trio is a set of 3 hand cremes made by Cake Beauty and paraben free. The set includes Milk Made, which is the raspberry and light vanilla scent. The set also includes Snow Woman which is a warm vanilla cake scent. The last creme is Un Sweet which is unscented and dye free.

If you are like me and have dry, cracked and peeling skin, then you know how important a good moisturizer is. I have tried every brand from high end to drug store items. So far this is the best formula at a great price, since you get 3 hand cremes for the price of 1 high end hand creme. You can use this on your hands, feet and elbows. I even use the Un Sweet on my face before makeup. Whether you are a guy or a gal you can enjoy these cremes. If you don't mind the girly packaging guys, give this a try. This is excellent for those with allergies to dyes because it includes the Un Sweet creme. It is even great for those who like paraben free beauty products.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture and overall feel of these cremes are nothing like I have ever felt before. They are thick without being greasy and light while still moisturizing. They aren't hard to get out of their tubes but they won't leak out if left open on your side table or in your purse.

When you rub these cremes into your skin you will think they are greasy at first. Once they soak in for a few seconds, you will easily see that feeling goes away. You are left with hydrated and silky skin that feels great. If you put these on before you realize you have to wash your hands, they won't disappear completely. You will still feel like you have moisturized a bit.

Milk Made is the whitest in color and opaque. Snow Woman is peach/pink in color and opaque. Un Sweet is white but more sheer and a little runnier than the others but still hydrates.

All these cremes are paraben free and not tested on animals. None of these have any clumps or watery feeling to them even if you let it settle for a while.

Taste / Aroma

Of all the cremes, Milk Made is my all time favorite. It is mildly sweet raspberry scent with a light mango & vanilla undertone. I usually stay away from sweet scents because it always makes people think I am a teenager...I look young. However, this scent is sweet but not overly so and my partner finds it sexy. Once you flip open the cap, the scents hits you hard but not enough to bring on a headache if you suffer from migraines. Once applied, the scent is strong and can be used as a perfume if you are in a rush. Throughout the day, the scent remained with me for about 8 hours if I sniffed my skin closely. The scent isn't strong enough to fill up a room or car so it's perfect for work or on public transportation.

Next is the Snow Woman creme. Honestly, this is the reason I got this trio but sadly it wasn't my type of scent. It is a strong vanilla scent that is close to a freshly baked cup cake on steroids. Okay, maybe not so much the steroids, but it is very close. It's very vanilla and frankly too vanilla for my liking. It is also long lasting and lasts about the same time as the Milk Made. I made the mistake of using it and then running to the store for a few things. The entire time all I could smell was the strong vanilla scent. I got lots of compliments on the scent but it just isn't my personal favorite. However, if you like vanilla you will love this. I use this creme on my feet so I smell it less.

The Un Sweet is my second favorite because it is completely scent and dye free. If you have sensitive skin or a skin condition you will love this one. If you have a child that has dry skin this would be great too. I use it for makeup primer and also on days when I don't want my perfume to clash with my lotion.

I would not know how any of these scents taste, because I did not taste them. I wouldn't suggest anyone taste these!

Performance

As I said before, this stuff is plain amazing! If you have dry or sensitive skin, get this trio. If you love vanilla lotion, get this trio. If you love lotions that can double as light perfume that lasts up to 8 hrs without having to reapply, then get this trio. Pretty much just order this trio!

I use these probably twice a day and even after washing my hands, I don't feel like my hands get dry. I like that Milk Made acts as my warm vanilla and fruity perfume on days when I don't wanna wear any. They moisturize and make my skin feel like it has been plumped up and refreshed. I don't get that sweaty hand feeling you can get from some greasy hand creams. I don't notice the creme sitting on the surface of my skin or drying out my hands. This is honestly my new holy grail of hand cremes.

I do wish it left more of a glow or sheen to the skin. I would love to use it on my legs and shoulders to highlight my figure when I go out. But for what it has done for my skin, I forgive it. Don't forget that the Un Sweet scent would work amazing as a face lotion, for kids, or those that have sensitive skin. No need to worry about whether the perfume or added color will cause welts, bumps or rashes.

Packaging

The Holiday Handful Trio comes in a very adorable pink/white gift box. The front of the box reads "Holiday Handful" with the Cake Beauty logo on the bottom. There is a picture of the 3 hand cremes with a clothes-line of cute mittens draped in front of them.

On the back of the box is the ingredients list for each and a bit more about the company. The back of the box also has cute snow flakes and holiday lights. The back of the box lists a little blurb about the set.

"Everyone could use a helping hand for the holidays, so we've packed up three of our best little helpers! Nourish, protect, and moisturize your mitts with this rich, vitamin-packed trio. Blended with shea and mango butters, whole milk, marshmallow extract, and just the right amount of glycerin to lock in moisture and protect your winter-worn hands. The formula you love in three delectable scents. Indulge."

The box is secure shut with a flip top that folds into the box. If you won't be storing your trios in it, feel free to recycle it. All the trios can be stood up on their own and do not fall over or leak.

I actually gifted this set to my mom and just placed it in an adorable pink bag and topped it with tissue paper. She loved the packing and I loved that I did not have to wrap it. This set would be awesome to travel with and equally amazing as gifts!

Personal comments

Simply put, I love these cremes! I use them mostly as cuticle moisturizers when I do my weekly manicures. I also love to wear the Milk Made scent for a light everyday perfume throughout the summer months. During the winter, these are necessary to keep my hands soft, moisturized and chapped free. I have yet to be disappointed by these hand cremes. They are my holy grail!
Follow-up commentary
I have had these 3 hand cremes almost 1 year and I love them even more! They always keep my hands moisturized. They act as light perfumes on days I can't or don't want to wear any. They don't wash off easily so no dry hands after washing your hands once or twice. Yes the price is a bit steep for some, but for me it's totally worth it. Just ordered the new set that Cake Beauty just released. I think I found my Holiday tradition...to buy Cake hand creme trios.
