Use

This little duck is another reason for long showers and soaks. When I first used this, I wasn't sure if this could be used out of the shower. I decided to try it logically in the tub. The light vibrations I felt tickled me up and down. My favorite spot to use it is above the clitoris near the vaginal opening. I think the way this toy is crafted works well in that area, for me at least. I was in the bathroom so as for being discreet, I can't really say. It wasn't ridiculously loud when I was taking a soak. A couple of days later, I adventurously used this in the bedroom with some lubricant with my boyfriend. It worked well surprisingly. The slight vrooms of the toy let you know that it's there but if you would ask me if I could hear it next door, I probably wouldn't be able to.

My partner likes foreplay so one of the things we tried was a dip in the pool with this ducky. The neighbors were out but never did a double take. This toy was discreet in the ways it needed to be and exhilarating where it mattered.

This is a fun toy that can be used alone or together with your partner. I preferred it with my boyfriend because it was such a whimsical toy. This toy in my opinion would probably be more ideal in flirty, fun scenarios.

Material / Texture

I rub my duckie is made of rubber as I would hope. I got mine in Purple and I love the color. It's not too bright or obnoxious. I love how it looks exactly like a regular duckie. I didn't notice a particular smell for my duckie but that could be due to the climate I was in. It's a rubber duck so it has that faint squeaky smell of rubber, but nothing different than a regular condom. The feel of this toy is cool and smooth. When my boyfriend was over, we put this toy in the freezer for a couple of minutes and took it out and placed it on his lower back. He shivered and had goosebumps. The texture is ideal for coolness and that helps with stimulation. It's not something novices should be afraid of. The toy wasn't porous in the way that it absorbs anything. It was slick and smooth and felt very good when I placed it on my mound of Venus.

Design / Shape / Size

This duck is like any other rubber duck to the naked eye. But when you look below, you can see it's different. To be clear, this is the travel size. I didn't get mine here so when I was looking around, I saw there were different sizes and designs like the Pirate duckie. The size is good for me because I have small hands. Also, it is already travel friendly to throw in my bag if I wanted. I think for an average user, the regular would be recommended unless you don't mind having something smaller. This toy itself is kind of a gag toy because you could have it sitting in front of everyone and unless someone nosy just had to fiddle with it, like kids, no one would be the wiser. It was a little inside joke to have it laying around when people would come over.

I do have to say that the angles of the duckie are a little inconvenient at times. Very rarely do we have male or female body parts shaped like little ducks. So for the idea and the size, I think it does fairly well. If I had to choose between a duck or a rabbit, I would go for the rabbit in terms of satisfaction and likeness. The duckie rates decent for every sense of the word "toy".

Functions / Performance / Controls

I have long nails, so the ease of using the function was a little harder. They are located at the bottom of the duckie. The problem I have with mine is that I have better vibrations from the bottom or the side than from the top. I think laying it on its side and using that angle especially for clitoral stimulation works the best. The downfall is that there is one speed. The person that gave this to me mentioned that the vibrations might increase with more pressure. I don't think that is true. My boyfriend and I tried using more pressure but it didn't do anything. This duck only has one speed and can't be increased. In the water, it was a bit more promising because there aren't many toys that can withstand the water, like floating, etc. It had very slight vibration ripples through the water, but not enough to cause anything. Maybe it was the water but I think it was better suited while it was wet.

Care and Maintenance

This rubber duckie should be cleaned regularly. I cleaned it while in the shower just soaping it up and rinsing it. There are many available cleaners that would work well if you don't feel comfortable just cleaning it with soap and water. When traveling, it can also be cleaned with an antibacterial, etc. cloth. Every couple of washes, I would wipe it down with an alcohol solution. It's rubber and very convenient to clean since it is non porous. The first time I cleaned it, a bit of the color came off, just slightly. This was before the alcohol solution I used to sterilize it. That was a bit surprising.

While this is waterproof, I would highly recommend against coming in contact with high heat like water, fires, etc. A friend used this in the hot tub but I wouldn't recommend it personally. This is rubber so nothing terribly bad should happen. But I think heat makes the odor become stronger.

I never used any lubes with this duckie. I did however put it in an ice bath and the freezer and they worked fine. I kept this by the bathtub ledge when I used it and placed it in the bag I received when I didn't use it for a while. Nothing happened to it.

Packaging

I received this as a gift so I couldn't advise on the factory/retailer packaging. My packaging was a clear bag with the instructions/directions/warnings on the bottom. The bag came with a matching loofah and 3 duckie die cut soap. I think the packaging I received was fun and simple. I got some extra items so that was cool. I still keep the bag and store the duckie when I'm not using it for a while or traveling.

Personal comments

It's a nice toy, just like a toy a kid would play with except for adults. If you're expecting exceptional orgasms, etc. with this, I wouldn't get too excited. It's not impossible but I haven't experienced that yet. It's a discreet, small toy that has one speed, not a self stimulating vibrator.

The rubber on this has started to fade. Also, the bottom has come off so I don't use it anymore. It was fun while it lasted though.
