Flickering touch massage oil - oil discontinued by LELO - review by Pete's Princess

My husband and I have a good arrangement. He loves to get massages and I love to give them. Generally he gets a massage at least three times a week. We have been trying out different massage oils, candles and lotions. We have all three of the Flickering Touch Massage Oils and really like all three. None of the scents are floral or distinctly feminine. Great for giving your man a massage and not having him leave the house smelling of flowers. All three scents were light and not overpowering. You can smell them when you are giving the massage but cannot smell them from across the room. The only thing I did not care for was that you could definitely smell the oil in all three of the scents. Most likely because the fragrance is very light.

The Fresh Lily Musk - The scent is a light musk with a hint of oil scent. I did not notice it to be the least bit lily or floral in scent.

The Balsam Fir & Bergamot - The scent is a light evergreen with a hint of oil scent. This has a warm woodsy smell.

The Spicy Clove & Amber - The scent is a light clove with a hint of oil scent. It is a nice fall scent that brings back memories of the holidays.

Warnings
These oils are not flavored and you should not ingest them. In fact there is a warning on the label - For External Use Only. Do not Swallow. Avoid contact with eyes. Not for use as a Personal Lubricant. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

How to Use
Shake well before using. Remove protective cap and press pump slowly to obtain desited amount of massage oil. Massage the smooth oil gently into your skin. Store in a cool dry place.

Packaging
The Flickering Touch Massage Oil comes in a black box. On the top there is Lelo in gold. On the front is Lelo in Black.
there is a circle in the color of the inside cover. Inside the circle is a shiny black circle with a matte outline of the bottle. At the bottom is the scent name, Flickering Touch Massage Oil and 120mL/4.8oz. On the right side of the box is a picture of the product. On the back is directions, warnings and ingredients in several languages.

Inside the box is a cardboard shelf that holds the bottle up from the bottom.

The bottle is made of a solid black colored glass. The dispenser and the writing on the bottle are in gold. The circular cover is colored according to the scent. Balsam Fir & Bergamot is Green. Spicy Clove & Amber is a Burnt Orange and Fresh Lily & Musk is Purple.

The massage oil goes on very smoothly. It does not feel oily or sticky on the skin. It also does not leave any residue when it dries. It has very good moisturizing ability and leaves your skin soft and silky. The scent is very light and can be smelled about 6-8" away. Otherwise it is not detectable.

The product details mention that it has gold flakes. We did not notice any gold flakes on the skin even after shaking the bottle well.

The oil absorbs quickly. Therefore, it needs to be reapplied during the massage. It goes on smoothly and leaves your skin feeling soft and silky.

The bottle has a good design and is discreet. Except for the Lelo name on it, you cannot distinguish it from a perfume bottle. The pump design is not the best because it drips and the oil needs to be wiped off the bottle.

The price is higher than other oils we have purchased. It is good quality but as it needs to be reapplied frequently, this is more a special occasion massage oil instead of an every day item.
