Scent of an Old WomanThis bath oil is deeply moisturizing and allows for a lengthy luxurious soak in the tub, but the fragrance isn't very androgynous and may not appeal to everyone who sniffs it.
Allows you to have a nice long soak, leaves skin supple and soft.
The fragrance may not appeal to everyone.
This moisturizing bath oil is designed to add a sensual element to your bath. It scents the water and the steam. If you add it while the water is running it will act as a bubble bath; if you add it when the tub is full it turns the water milky as it claims to.
The bright pink, and I mean pink - as in not in the slightest bit masculine neon pink - pours easily from the bottle with almost no "hang around", or product that stays in the bottle.
At first whiff, it smells sort of floral; once it hits the water the scent changes dramatically - it becomes a neutral herbal smell. It could just be me, but the fragrance on this was identical to the utilitarian shower-gel/shampoo/skin-cleanser that was used at the nursing home I used to work at. That personal hang up aside, it still had a funky after-scent: the only word that comes to mind is "musty".
Despite my hang ups with the smell, it did condition my skin nicely and allowed me a good long soak. I didn't feel itchy after my bath, or like I required a shower to get the bath oil off me. If the fragrance was better, I'd be more enthusiastic about this bath oil.
