Scrub-A-Dub

The brown sugar lip scrub is a good choice for those who just need a deeper clean to their lips, but it is not effective enough for those with the issue. It is made with almost all natural ingredients, but it does contain some allergy causing ingredients. The smell of this scrub is amazing. Overall this is worth a try for most people and the results for everyone is different.

Use

The Brown sugar lip scrub is to scrub the dead skin off your lips. This will exfoliate your lips leaving them free of cracks and flaking that can happen from dry weather. After you use this scrub your lips are meant to feel clean, smooth, and hydrated, but results may vary.

There are mostly natural ingredients, but those with nut allergies might want to pass on this scrub.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The scrub is similar to the consistency and the appearance of wet sand. This is grainy and super thick. You can tell it is much more sugar crystals and very little base, so it dries up quickly. This dries almost before you put it on your lips. The sugar crystals are left behind, but nothing sticky or waxy. It is easy to remove from the container, but you do need to rub your finger multiple times in order to get a decent amount for use. Once you use the scrub it will stay in place until you rinse it off.

Taste / Aroma

It is unbelievable how amazing this scrub smells. There is a slight vanilla smell, but it mostly smells like brown sugar. The smell fresh out of the container is very strong and sweet. Once you apply it to your lips it is still just as strong and lovely. Once you rinse it off there is slight sweet smell left behind.

Performance

I am pleased with the performance of this scrub, but it is not the best I have ever tried. It does work well for its purpose, but it is a bit too thick for my liking. This scrub is meant to be removed once you are done rubbing it into your lips, which only requires you to rinse. This scrub is best for those who don't require exfoliating often.

Packaging

The container is white with a black cap. There is a peel off sticker on the top and bottom, the top labels the product and the bottom labels the ingredients.

Follow-up commentary
I still don't like this scrub. I used it less then 5 times. It's just not something I really needed. If you are looking for a lip scrub you might be interested in this, but really any body scrub would work and this is expensive for what you get.
