Hello Mangosteen! You smell so good! I have several Mangosteen scented Dona products and love all of them. This is an “aphrodisiac infused” body scrub to use in the shower or tub. You can use a wash cloth or your hands to put this scrub on (I use my hands). I have eczema and I use this product and it hasn’t caused my skin to dry out yet. In fact the oils actually soften my skin. However it does not intensely moisturize just soften. I use this particular scrub on my legs after shaving and it doesn’t cause a rash. However LADIES if you shave down there and are putting this scrub on your thighs do not get it near that particular area after shaving. I’m obsessive on shaving down there and after accidentally getting the scrub on said newly shaved area; it burned. So it’s ok on newly shaved legs just not on the newly shaved labia ladies. I use this on my elbows, arms and every area EXCEPT my face or the girl area and it does amazingly with removing dry skin. It really softens my rough elbows as well. I actually follow the scrub up with Dona massage oil after I get out of the shower. There are several fruit extracts and rice in this scrub so if you are allergic to certain fruits or rice look on for a new scrub! Over all this is a great scrub for someone who has eczema, oily or average skin. Just don’t use it on your face or get it near newly shaved lady bits! Also Dona Mangosteen scrub is; natural, paraban free, petro.deriv.free, and cruelty free!

Texture wise Mangosteen scrub reminds me of very fine salt with a creamy feel. It’s a very thick scrub that doesn’t run all over the place so you aren’t wasting any of it or making a mess. . Once you put Mangosteen scrub on your skin it stays there till you rub it around. This feels great on my skin. It’s a very fine scrub that doesn’t tear my skin or leave it inflamed. It isn’t as intense as say St. Ives apricot scrub. It’s a fine scrub that does its job but not intensely so. There aren’t any huge pieces of nut shells or anything of the sort. There is no greasy sticky feel to this scrub as I said it feels thick and creamy with a fine salt feel to it. Since Dona made this jar with a screw off top; you can just scoop it out of the container very easily.

I love the smell of Dona Mangosteen scrub! It reminds me of the tropics; all peachy, fruity smelling! It reminds me of a mixed fruit drink without an alcohol undertone. It leaves a faint smell in your bathroom as well. When it comes to how strong the smell is; I would go with medium. It’s not a strong smell but it’s not faint either. Once it’s on your skin then rinsed off it leaves a very light smell that you won’t smell unless you get close to the skin. Also of course it’s not edible to state the obvious. I think this would be great (as a kit with other Dona products) as a gift for a wife or girlfriend because you wouldn’t want to give something that says aphrodisiac infused to your darling mom.

This is a scrub so it is meant to be washed off but it does soften you’re skin for some time. If you use it on a daily basis with a lotion preferably by Dona or the massage oil it will keep your skin soft every day. After using Dona scrub it rinses right off but the oils in it moisturize for some time. It does not leave a sticky or filmy residue. I liked the smell of this product, the fact that it removed dry skin and moisturized it! It’s amazing for those roughed up elbows. My only complaint is that if you accidentally get any on your newly shaved girl part it burns! However it’s amazing on newly shaved legs and doesn’t burn them at all.By the by Dona scrub has oil in it so make sure you don’t get it on your clothing!

Dona packaged this in a round tub with an easy to screw off lid that you can scoop the scrub right out of. The container did not leak. Also the labels and container are plastic so you can keep this scrub in the shower and not ruin the label or jar. There are directions on how to use this scrub (on the container) if you need them. The jar has aphrodisiac infused written across the label so it NOT discreet. This is a 9.5 oz container of scrub (a little over 1 cup).
