Set The Mood With Tantric!

This massage oil is great to use as an aide in relaxing in general or erotic message. It has a wonderful smell and texture, plus it absorbs very well into the skin and leaves it silky smooth. It's isn't edible and doesn't have a taste, but as a basic massage oil, it's great.

Use

If you're looking for a nice massage oil to wind things down in the evening, or maybe heat things up, Tantric massage oil is a great choice for anybody! Aside from being inexpensive, Tantric is also aesthetically pleasing with a nice bottle that will blend in with a variety of your typical lotions and shampoos. The smell of this product is exquisite and by far one of the best features of this massage oil! It does have a few downsides, such as no taste and no ingredient list available. But, if you aren't sensitive and you don't mind the lack of taste, you'll love this product!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

When I first used this massage oil it reminded me a lot of baby oil because of the texture of it. It is a little thinner than baby oil and because of this, it massages in a little quicker. It also doesn't feel as thick on your fingers. This oil doesn't feel sticky when applying it. Some may perceive it as greasy, personally it didn't feel greasy to me. The thickness of it made it easy to massage in and it didn't take forever. That allowed me to move on to other areas quicker.

The best possible description I can give for this massage oil is thinner baby oil. The texture reminds of it, just a little thinner, and the feeling on the skin (and after it is massaged in) is very similar as well. Because of the shape of the bottle and the opening, it isn't as easy to pour however, because it is thinner than baby oil and a lot of other massage oils, this also allows a great sense of control.

Taste / Aroma

The aroma of the Tantric Massage Oil is just amazing. I selected the Shaki scent when I purchased my oil and I love the scent. Shaki reminds me of incense that often boast coming from exotic parts of the world. While the aroma is short-lived, maybe about an hour or so, I enjoyed this massage oil as a perfume. The only downside is that I can't actually GET it as a perfume!

Unfortunately, this massage oil doesn't have much in the way of taste. It isn't sweet or spicy in any way. In fact, I didn't really notice a taste. Considering that I couldn't find a list of ingredients, I wouldn't recommend trying to ingest this massage oil.

Performance

This massage oil lasted for about 45 minutes. It didn't take long to rub in and I was really pleased with how soft and silky my skin felt afterwards. I was also happy that I didn't have to wash it off. The best two features of this product is the smell and how it makes your skin feel afterwards.

There are a few downsides to this massage oil. Without an ingredient list, it becomes complicated because of allergy concerns. To test for an allergic reaction, I used this oil 2 to 3 times over the last few weeks and waited for any kind of negative reaction. I didn't have one, but that doesn't mean that someone else wouldn't. Other than the aroma and taste, both of which are commented in that area

Packaging

The Tantric massage oil bottle was wrapped in clear plastic and tapped shut. Despite this, the bottle did leak a little, however it wasn't a noticeable amount and was only a very thin film over the bottle. The bottle its self blends in well with other products without an obvious design.

This massage oil didn't come with separate instructions. On the back of the bottle, there is a label which states "USE LIBERAL AMOUNT ON ENTIRE BODY FOR A FABULOUS MASSAGE AND SILKY SKIN." There is no ingredients list available on the bottle, so if you have skin allergies please consider consulting with Cal Exotics first.

Experience

I use this as a regular massage oil for relaxing after end-of-term exams as well as just when I need to relax. It was so affective at helping me relax and I was sitting there just sniffing and rubbing myself because of the wonderful aroma and silky feeling it left.

At first I was really concerned about the fact that there isn't an ingredient list. Right after I used it I did actually break out into blotches. But, after using it a few times, I discovered (happily) that the massage oil wasn't the cause. After the initial scare I felt better about this oil and, while I think that Cal Exotics would still benefit from including that, I'm still happy.

This is just such a wonderful massage oil, all the positive qualities of it by far outweigh the few negative ones. I strongly recommend this to anyone whose looking for a versatile massage oil. If you are really into scents, I got Shakti and I love, LOVE the smell! Really, it is hard to go wrong with this choice if you don't mind the lack of taste and baby oil texture.

How can they even legally sell something for human consumption that doesn't have an ingredients list? I am pretty sure the FDA governs lubricants, and I would have thought massage oils were governed too. I'm staying the heck away if they won't disclose the ingredients, even though the bottle is pretty and the scent sounds nice.

    • The way socceras describes it, I think I would enjoy it! I have had lubes that leak before and it doesn't stop me from using them. The ingredients thing might make me hesitate, but I am only allergic to Codene as far as I know so it wouldn't stop me. =)
