Shocking performance

I saw this and I started drooling, because of my past experience when I had one of these babies. I bought this unit for my mother for when she needs it for tight muscles. I will be getting another one or two of these for myself.

This is by far one of the best items here having multiple uses not just for sex.

Use

This is just a different version of a Tens Unit that chiropractors use in their offices. While during sex play, your partner can put the sticking pads anywhere imaginable, and he/she can control the intensity of the power with ease. Also if you are experienced with a tens unit, having had to take one home, you have been instructed on how and where to place these for the best effect desired. I love mine both as a massager and during sex play. There are 3 modes and the intensity can always be changed with the bottom controlling the intensity:
1) Tap mode - promotes the blood circulation by a tapping, and throbbing stimulation.
2) Modulation - Releases fatigue and relaxes muscles by providing a combination of different speeds and intensities.
3) Kneading - gradually releases neutral or muscle pain by providing deep pressure point stimulation.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The craftsmanship is amazing; it is made by Pipedream of plastic and polyester, with a black remote having a silver face along with white sticky pads. This is a light BD/SM kit that can easily become a harder class; depending on the mentality of the person in charge of the voltage the more the pleasure can be intensified. Its length is 2 3/4", weights 8 oz, and takes two AA batteries (not included) that you put in the back of the remote. Now there are 2 different types of Shock Therapy items: this one and the Fetish Fantasy Series Shock therapy pleasure probe for 14.99 and both controllers with fit each other on the other unit. This is latex free, phthalates free and hypo-allergenic so there's no worries there.
This unit comes with:
1) 4 sticky pads
2) An instruction manual
3) Lead wire connecting the 4 pads to the unit
4) A face mask
    • Fits comfortably
    • Mixed material
    • Multiple ways to use

Performance

It has multiple speeds and functions, and is used for various levels of kink, giving off a fantastic tingling sensation, which is very soothing. I don't know of anyone who wouldn't love one of these as a gift because of its multiple uses on either partner, and sex doesn't even have to be a part of it. I even bought one of these for my mother who's prone to chronic back pain and leg cramps.
However, anyone with a combination or just one of these problems should NOT use this or similar products:
1) Heart disease
2) Have a pace maker
3) Epilepsy or other neurological disease
4) If you are pregnant
5) Driving or operating heavy machines
6) On or near metal objects; (Meaning) All body jewelry needs to be removed before use on the body.
    • Comfortable during use
    • Easy to put on / use

Care and Maintenance

The clean up easy after the fun with Pipedream Toy Cleaner and warm water. Since there's nothing to insert, the only thing that we need to care for is the controller. Just take a wipe and wipe the controller, keeping it dust free. The cord can be wiped as well. The pads that you stick to the body can be placed back on the paper that you took it off of.

This can be used in group situations and shared by with others, but you do need to make sure that the pads are only used by one person to keep everyone germ free.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The box can be kept to store the unit back in and put it up until the next time that you want to use it. Along with the initial unit, it came with an instruction manual telling where to apply them, and for self help in areas where you need to loosen up tight and sore muscles.
    • Not discreet

Personal comments

This is the most awesome piece of equipment that has even been made hands down, for its multi uses and therapeutic attributes that it has. Everyone should have 2 or 3 of these in the house hold, it's that great.

Experience

The first time that I was introduced to one of these miracle machines was after a car wreck. It's easily attached to the muscles with pads that you have to buy when the others wear off. The pads are self-adhesive, and attach to the lead wire using snaps. It also has a timer function, and you can select the time of use and the battery-powered unit will automatically shut off after the interval.
Follow-up commentary
This is still great for everyday use. So much that my mother has since taken this product as her own for her muscle cramps that come with age. At first she couldn't get it to work so I hooked it up to my arms and turned up the juice. I had the voltage up to the point that the voltage had my muscles twitching all over; I then showed her how to work it. I plan on getting another unit just for myself (again) very soon.

Awesome review, thanks!

I was at one point thinking about getting this, but I had such a bad experience with the probe I changed my mind. Good review, thanks for sharing.

I've been curious about this type of product for almost two years, but I think I'm not ready yet and it will have to wait a little bit more. Besides, I already have too many toys on my wish list and I have to get them first.

I hear everyones concerns, my wish list is pretty full itself, and needing weeded out. Married there's nothing wrong with being cautious with electrodes.

  • Shock Therapy Questions from a beginner
    • I never thought I'd order this, but curiousity has killed the cat.

      My questions:
I have several piercings. Is it okay to leave them in during use as long as I don't put the pads on the metal?

I've read some things that say that you shouldn't do them on your nipples. I don't know a lot about electricity, but I'm wondering if it's safe to use it on one nipple at a time and if the warnings come when you are just using one on each nipple, or is hte chest area not safe at all?

Any advice, or fun things I should try (hot spots, etc.) would be appreciated!

Anyone? It should be here in a couple of days, and I'm really anxious to try it out.... but I've never used one before so I want to make sure that I'm covering all of the obvious things that I might not think of.

I don't know the answers to your questions but I was curious about the product so I read some of the reviews. I think some of your answers are in the reviews. Looks like you have to have all four pads attached for it to work. Not sure about the piercing safety. Good luck and have fun. I'm not sure I would be brave enough to try it ;O

  • Little person with flashing parts on the Shock Therapy Kit
    • I was quite perplexed by what this did, as different parts of the person would flash but there weren't any instructions about it.

I e-mailed their customer service and they told me that the little person on the LED is a design flaw and that they never actually developed the function that they were going to use it for.

Just in case any of you out there were wondering. :P

      Heck, Miss Debauchery,

Right now, that's about the ONLY part of MY unit that IS working!

GEESH!!! I just posted a 1-star review based on what appears to be a DOA unit. But I REALLY want to discover it's "operator error" on my part. So any tips you may provide would be MOST appreciated. (Perhaps I could even "service your needs," whatever they may be [weg], at some point?!?)

  • Fetish Fantasy Series Shock therapy kit Question...
    • I just got this delivered today and am MAJORLY digging it! Though I have to ask, just how safe is this toy on genitals (both penises and vaginas :P) and highly sensitive spots (nipples, butt cheeks, etc etc)? I know there are different shocky items available via Pipedream elsewhere (like the cock cage or probe) but I worry about frying nerve endings and other scary stuff :S

I've wondered the same thing. The instructions don't tell you not to and I'm sure the box wouldn't have them placed where they are if you couldn't do that. All it says is not to use it anywhere internal. I think in the adult video review on the page, it is actually put in some sensitive spots. I'm not brave enough to try it yet.

I'd say that if you wanted to try it, start it off on the lowest intensity. I can barely feel that one on most of my body.
    • I guess it depends on the intensity and what your comfort level is.

  • Adhesive
    • I'm slightly sensitive to adhesive, especially the kind found on band-aids. Does anyone know how the adhesive on these pads compares to band-aids (like is it stronger or weaker than that on a band-aid)?
    • Sounds like a good question to post here.

I'm very sensitive to adhesives too, this would be interesting to find out.
    • Its pretty strong id be weary

If not, are you interested in it?
    • I have not. But I want to try it out and see if I would like it or not.
    • Haven't tried it, not sure if I will because I'm a little scared. However, it does look kind of interesting.

It was a tickling sensation, I am not into the pain fullness of things either, and it is by far not a painful thing, but the higher you crank it the more you will get so I guess for some it could get painful

  • Shocking!
    • What are the best parts of the body to use this one, and why? Also what are your personal favorites?
    • Quote: What are the best parts of the body to use this one, and why? Also what are your personal favorites?
In the sexual realm, we tried several areas such as breasts including nipple area. If the nipples are EXTREMELY sensitive, I advise to avoid that area directly and work on the area surrounding them. Inner thighs are also very good places to explore with this as is the bottom of the buttocks. For muscle massage instead of using for sexual stimulation play, any muscle area is good but I would avoid facial areas. Always start on the very lowest settings and increase slowly. If anyone has a history of medical problems relating to heart or seizures, I advise speaking with their doctor first as a normal precaution.
    • Great video!

Does anyone know if this is less intense than the neonwand? I am having a difficult time talking my friend into trying the wand, and thought maybe this would be more her style.
