Simply sensual shave trio - aftershave discontinued by Classic Erotica - review by oopsy

A three piece set including a shave lotion, after shaving protection spray to protect against rashes, and a protection powder for after shaving as well. These are all meant to be used together, but also work quite well separately! The shave cream also doubles as a hair conditioner- weird I know- but it's amazing at everything it does!
It's a luxurious moisturizing shave cream for use in shower or bath. It has pleasant and strong smell, and all three products have the same scent and theme. They can be used individually or as a set, and all three are safe for use all over your body, including intimate areas. It comes packaged like so:



Easy, storage and travel bag, with draw string top. These items do have a strong smell of Pomegranate and ginger, which is refreshing, clean and only a tad feminine.

Shave Cream: For use with shaving obviously, but it can also double as a moisturizing shower gel in a pinch and doubles as a hair conditioner.

Protection Mist: Also for use after shaving, it helps dry out skin and close pores. It creates a thin protection layer over your skin to prevent rash.

Protection Powder: To dry out skin after shaving and help absorb any remaining mist. It is like a baby powder and very fine and velvety.

Because there are three different products here, I'll deal with each of them separately:
Shave Cream: This is thick and creamy. The pump on the top of the bottle does stick a bit and that's a tad annoying, but it comes out like lotion or conditioner, not foaming at all like some shave cream.


It comes in an 8 oz. bottle, so it's a generous amount and enough to last even for your legs. It is smooth and spreadable over your legs, if you leave it on for a minute or two it will soak in and leave your legs so incredibly soft! You do want to spread it thin though, because it's so think it will jam up your razor if it's applied too thick. But a little will go a long way here.

As a conditioner, this products makes a lot of sense. It feels like conditioner in your hand, and it can be worked through your hair and rinses out easily too. It's surprisingly versatile, and I honestly can't decide if I like it more as a shave cream or a conditioner more. It's the best I've ever tried for either!!

After Shave Protection Spray: This is designed to be sprayed directly on your skin after shaving to create a thin shield between your clothing and the environment and your skin. It is safe enough to be sprayed anywhere. It comes in a 4 oz. bottle and seems to have the consistency of syrupy water. Because it comes with an easy spray top bottle, I can't really get a feel for what it's like on it's own. But the bottle works great and it isn't too runny or too thick when it's applied.

Protection Powder: It has the consistency of baby powder, it feels dry, soft and almost chaulky. It doesn't clump at all or get sticky.


It almost looks purply in tint, and it comes with a pouf applicator, like one your would get for bronzer or blush. It's .46 oz. but because it's so powdery, it is a bit difficult to work with, it gets everywhere and doesn't stay in place. I would not suggest putting it on well before you need to get dressed, and I would be careful in putting it on if you're planning on wearing black.

All three products match in their scent of Pomegranate and ginger, and it smells great. It has a very herbal and natural scent and isn't sicky sweet or fake smelling either. It's clean and fresh without being overpowering. I wouldn't recommend eating any of this, please don't. The shave cream smells the strongest, then the powder, and the mist doesn't smell that strong at all, but it's still there. Again I'll do the three separately here:
Shave Cream: This was by far the best of the three products. It is easy to use on legs or hair. It can go anywhere, and is a fantastic moisturizer. It is easy to massage is and doesn't leave any residue. It rinses clean out of hair or off legs or intimate area. It creates enough moisture to make shaving easy, fast, and safe. It works amazing and is so so useful! my legs have never gotten a closer shave, and my hair has literally never been softer! Other than the bottle being a little difficult to pump, and having it stick a bit, it's a perfect five stars!

Protection Mist: This is an interesting product, but I found that it burned a bit. It's meant to close pores and coat you skin in a super thin layer for protection, so obviously it stings and bit closing pores, and it only lasted a few seconds, but if you have sensitive skin, this might not be a great product for you. I'd take a look at the ingredients and make sure. The product claims that it's safe to use of 'sensitive areas' and I used it there and it was fine and worked really well. I didn't get any razor burn in my bikini area and that's rare! The sprayer works well too at all angels, even upside down for hard to reach areas!

Protection Powder: Other than being a bit difficult to use this product was also great. It helps dry out skin so it won't chafe after shaving. Can be used under arms or in intimate areas as well, where moisture tends to collect and create rash or razor burn. It rubs into skin as well after a few minutes if it's only put on in a thin layer.

It comes just in that plastic bag with a tag explaining what everything is. Each bottle has the full ingredients and directions for use on it. i wouldn't say it's travel friendly though. The shave cream tends to get sticky at the top because it requires such a firm pump to dispense, and the powder will get everywhere if it's not closed completely.
