Simply Sensual Shower Creme is thick, creamy and slick with no grains, salts, granules or texture of any kind. It is similar in consistency to other shower cremes/washes. The pearly pink creme pours easily from the bottle and will run down skin. The product rinses cleanly from skin and doesn't leave a greasy or sticky residue behind.

The Simply Sensual Shower Creme smells exactly like the scent it is supposed to be: Pomegranate Ginger. It smells fruity with a spicy kick from the Ginger. It does smell stronger in the bottle compared to while using it, but I didn't personally find the scent overwhelming or chemical smelling. It smells lovely and quite tasty, but remember that this is an external use only product, do not ingest. I didn't taste it, neither should you.

The Shower Creme performed quite well and cleaned my skin nicely. On a washcloth, I needed a bit more than a quarter sized dollop and it lathered adequately. However, a quarter sized dollop was plenty for a full body cleaning with a shower pouf and it lathered much more. As a bubble bath, I used two capfuls (or about a silver dollar sized amount) and received a 1-2 inch layer of bubbles that lasted 20 minutes. The product rinsed completely from my skin and didn't leave any residue on my body or in my bathtub.

While using, the scent is much lighter than what it smells like in the bottle. After showering/bathing, I could barely detect the scent on my skin and it didn't last long. The bottle states that it is formulated with lavender extract to soothe and apple fruit extract to gently exfoliate. While my skin didn't feel overly moisturized, it did feel smooth and not dry or tight at all.

How many uses you can get out of one bottle will vary. Using it as a bubble bath will use more product; however, if you use it only as a body wash, you should be able to get many uses from it. I've used mine several times already and have only used about 1/4 of the product.

The small bottle holds 8 fluid ounces of product. The bottle itself is plastic with a push in top (which can also be screwed completely off); the bottle can be squeezed easily to dispense the product. The bottle is also rather discreet, other than stating that the shower creme contains pheromones ("nature's sexual attractant").

The label lists the manufacturer, product name, scent, product and ingredient information and benefits, ingredient list, and website address for Simply Sensual Cosmetics. The bottle can be left out with your other bath products or slipped into a gift basket.

The ingredients contain synthetic pheromones (Copulandrone, Copuline-alike and Reconstituted Androne), though there is always debate on whether or not they actually work.

I absolutely love bath products, and body washes and bubble baths are my favorite! I'm constantly trying new ones so of course it was only a matter of time before I picked up the Simply Sensual Shower Creme. Normally, I'm not overly fond of Pomegranate scented items, but I think this smells lovely. Pomegranate and Ginger give this product a sweet and spicy scent. Sadly, it doesn't linger on skin for too long. I'm sure pairing this with other Simply Sensual products in the Pomegranate Ginger scent will help with that, though.

Even though this didn't really moisturize my skin, it didn't leave it dried out or tight either like most body washes do. After using this, I was able to skip lotion without feeling like my skin was cracking. Overall, I really like this shower creme. I just wish it came in a larger bottle.
