The Simply Sensual Luxe After Shave and Wax Powder is used to prevent rashes or other irritation that results from shaving and waxing your skin. It would be best to use this product in conjunction with the other products in this line to get the best effect. This reviewer is only using the shave and wax powder that this review is pertaining to. This is for use with all skin types. It is appropriate for use on legs, underarms, intimate areas and the body.

This feels almost exactly like baby powder. It is soft and leaves the skin feeling incredibly soft. It is very easy to use. Right after shaving/waxing or even after you bathe, just take the little puff and dab a bit on wherever you'd like. Since it is a powder, it will fall off of your skin if you don't rub it in a bit after dabbing it on. Your skin is left feeling baby soft and velvety smooth.

The fragrance is described as lavender by the company that makes it. While this reviewer cannot recall ever smelling lavender, it does have a flowery scent. It is a soft scent that isn't at all overpowering like some fragrances can be. The scent is stronger inside the container, but loses some of the scent after it has been applied to your skin.

After applying the powder to my skin, the scent lasted about 30 minutes, but would probably last longer if I applied it more liberally. It doesn't have to be washed off, and can in fact be applied every time that you bathe, if that is what you would like to do. The best thing about this product for me was how soft it made my skin feel. It felt as if I had applied lotion to my skin, when it was, in fact, the only thing I applied after shaving. The only thing that I felt that could be better would be if it was available in a bigger size. For people that shave every day, this might not last very long.

The powder comes in a small jar with a powder puff to apply it to your skin. There were no instructions, but the usage is pretty self explanatory. The packaging is very discreet and would probably travel well. This reviewer recommends that, to be on the safe side, when traveling place the container into a plastic bag.

I tried using this on one side and the Coochy Shave Cream that is made by Classic Erotica as well. So far, the Simply Sensual is working better at soothing my itchy skin. While both sides still are mostly itch free, the side that I used the powder on is softer. I will be sure to test this several more times and put the results in my follow-up review.
