BWarm candles are a perfect mix of sensation toy and functional body product. The fig scent is unisex and lingers just enough, but doesn't intrude. This candle makes your skin feel fantastic afterward.

Use

BWarm is great for massages, no matter the area of skin. I used the candle to massage my legs after shaving, but it is just as good for a nice back massage, or full body massage. BWarm candles are great for couples, but can be used solo. I can see many situations for this candle's use. The obvious is a romantic couple's night together, but this could be great aftercare for a D/s relationship and a perfect treat for a particularly obedient slave!

Of course all individuals should check the label for any allergy issues. And I would not advise using the candle anywhere near the genitals as that might upset the natural pH.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

BWarm is an excellent massage oil/wax. It doesn't make your skin so slippery that you'll slide out of satin sheets. I enjoyed the texture because it felt organic. The oils included are great for your skin like jojoba, coconut, shea, vitamin E and aloe vera. This makes for a massage oil that you can let sink into the skin and don't have to worry about cleaning it up afterward. After the massage the skin feels like it's had a thick lotion applied, not an oil. I feel like this would be great for winter nights when skin is already dry.

Taste / Aroma

I enjoyed the scent of fig, it carries a warm/earthy scent that would be suitable for anyone's tastes. It doesn't hold any sort of flowery synthetic scent that would be distracting to leave the house in. The scent lingers on the skin, but does not fill the air after the candle is blown out. It's not a "you left the house smelling like a scented candle" smell. If you know what I mean.

I have a sensitivity to scents, especially synthetic smells of perfumes. Luckily BWarm does not set off my headaches! The fig scent is reminiscent of that "good cigar" smell. That sweet cigar scent.

Performance

My test of this candle was a nice leg massage after shaving. So I lit the candle and let it burn while I shaved my legs. After about 10 minutes there was a nice little pool of wax/oil ready. I poured it straight onto my legs and it had a nice warm feeling to it, but no burns. The wax melted into a luxurious oil that made my legs have a nice sheen and felt very moisturizing. This oil definitely remains on the skin, but unlike other oils, there is no need for clean-up. Your skin will just soak it in. I was very happy with the "slip" level, not too much that I couldn't use my hands to really massage, but not too little that I felt friction digging into the muscles.

Packaging

BWarm's packaging is stylish and sophisticated. The packaging has some simplicity to it, but gives a good tone to the candle inside. This would be an excellent gift, especially for newlyweds or even a new Mom (we all know new Moms need a good massage!). The outside of the box has a good picture of the product inside, so there are no surprises. And unlike some sensual products, the ingredients are listed in nice big print on the side of the box.

Special Features

I love the fluted, flexible candle holder for the BWarm. It helps to funnel the oil right onto the skin and makes for a great pouring effect allowing the wax to cool on it's way down. The holder can be cleaned off after use with a simple tissue or cloth to keep it looking tidy and able to just be decorative by the beside.

A little goes a long way. To use on both legs I barely made a dent in the candle. I think the price is fair for the quality of the ingredients.

The holder is what drew me to this candle, it's a great shape to control the pouring. And they do just wipe off with a tissue to keep a tidy look in between uses.

    • My significant other and I have been together over 5 years. He's been away for a week and a half and coming home tonight. I would love to do something special as one of the things I want to do this year is have a better relationship.
      We don't really have time alone and this has made our romantic time pretty non existent. Of course the relationship is affected because even though we are happy, we get along, we like each other, we are missing that spark. We are missing that extra happiness and closeness that comes from having a fulfilling sex life.

      When I'm trying to do something special for my Hubby I always stick to the simple. I make him a nice and we curl up on the couch and watch a movie. He always appreciates the the gesture :)

      I only have the Jimmyjane Afterglow. Just the smell of the bourbon sends chills down my spine. We love this candle so much I really should write a review. Since I haven't yet I'll tell you the brush is cute but I don't find it very useful except to tickle. The oil from the candle is not really slick but soft and silky. Sounds strange but for me that's better. I don't like to slip off the skin when giving a massage. I light the candle for about 45min and just pour on once it cools for a few mins. You really don't need too much to cover the entire body and it leaves the skin soft not oily. The candle is simple and pretty as would be expected from Jimmyjane.
    • I've only tried the Bwarm, but both my boyfriend and I love it. We got the fig scent, and it's the loveliest scent of candle or massage oil I have ever experienced. The shape of the candle holder is great for pouring the oil with no spills, but some leftover wax will dry on the pouring "spout". This does melt off the next time you use the candle, but it can look "messy". It's very nice and light, not oily at all. I haven't tried the Jimmyjane Afterglow, but the Bwarm has been awesome and I don't think you would regret purchasing it.
