Body slide - sensual kit by Shunga Erotic Art - review by Liz NuMe

When I first saw the Shunga Body Slide on the Edenfantasys web site, I immediately thought of my husband and a fantasy of his to have sex in an oil pit. This definitely would not be my type of fantasy, but then again I'm not a water person at all. But I love my husband, and wanted to make his dreams come true. So I told him about this and we decided to give it a try.

The Shunga Oriental Body Slide comes in a beautiful black cardboard box, with Asian erotic art on it. It contains 2 bottles, a gold plastic sheet and a complete instruction manual. The massage gel comes in several flavors. We chose the fruit one. I really liked the scent of it, and the flavor was very mild, reminiscent of a tropical fruit drink.

There is a bit of preparation to using this. First you lay out a mat of some kind on the floor. Do use the floor, because this gets very slippery! We used a thick comforter. Next you roll 4 large towels lengthwise like tubes, and lay them down around the 4 sides of your bed, creating a rectangular border for your pit. Our bath towels didn't seem to be quite big enough, so we had to use an extra towel on each side of the long end of the bed.

Once you have that all set up lay down the gold sheet, making sure that it covers the towels and overlaps them approximately 12 inches on each side. We were quite surprised actually once this was done, because it made for a rather small bed. It was a little bigger than a twin, but not quite as big as a full bed, and my 5' 9" husband's head and feet were hitting the top and bottom towels.

Now it's time to mix the ingredients. Get a pitcher that holds one gallon. Pour in the contents of bottle #1, which was a thick sea blue gel that smelled divine! Next add 3 1/2 quarts of warm water, then the contents of bottle #2. Now you stir it all together. Use something stiff to stir it with because it creates a somewhat thick gel.

Next have your partner lie down, and pour the contents over them. I poured it on my husband, and was quite surprised by how little one gallon of liquid is when poured over someone. I don't know what I thought it was going to look like, but it didn't even completely cover him. Once we got to playing in our pit, the liquid was pretty much everywhere. But I think what he was looking for and what I had expected was more of a shallow pool. You will not have that with this product.

So after I poured it on him I dove in. It was wet and very slippery. We found it a bit difficult to do anything because every movement caused one of us to slip away. Thrusting was impossible without flying off the bed. If we ever do anything like this again we need things to grab onto for leverage. It just seemed nothing was working right. We tried and tried but finally gave up. I do have to say that we laughed. A lot!

Clean up was easy. We just grabbed the corners of the sheet and poured it down the tub, followed by hot water, and threw the sheet in the trash. I love Shunga's products! I have many of them. Maybe it was just us, I don't know. Even though this wasn't what I expected, I'm not exactly sure what I did expect. And even though it wasn't my type of a sexual or sensual experience, I have to say I'm glad I tried it.
