Facial moisturizer by Sensuous Beauty - review by Tuesday

Divine Facial Moisturizer is best used on the face after it is washed and optionally exfoliated. Apply a small quantity to moisturize, hydrate and pamper your skin. It can feel somewhat oily so this product is probably best used as a nighttime moisturizer.

It may be especially good for those with sensitive skin who may be bothered by chemical ingredients. Sensuous Beauty products contain only all natural ingredients.

Animal lovers will appreciate that it is not tested on animals.

Divine Facial Moisturizer has the consistency of a thin hand lotion, but once applied to the skin it almost makes your skin feel like you've applied a thick cream. Once applied and rubbed in, it will leave your skin slightly shiny.

This moisturizer does contain oils and you can feel them as you rub it into your skin. A few minutes after it is applied, your skin won't feel particularly greasy however.

The bottle delivers moisturizer with a pump action. One pump will give you the right amount of moisturizer for use on your face.

Rose and Rose Geranium moisturizer smells like roses. Apply it to your skin and you will notice the wonderful rose scent for hours.

The scent is noticeable but not overpowering. After applying it, you will notice the scent but it will likely not be strong enough that others will comment on it.

Divine Facial Moisturizer looks like a thin, white lotion. One pump produces a pea sized drop which will run if applied to skin which is then held vertical.

But once it is rubbed in, probably because it contains oils, it doesn't completely absorb into your skin. Hours later your skin will still feel protected and moisturized, much like it would if you had used a thicker product. The extent to which your skin will still feel moisturized hours after this product is applied is impressive.

The instructions say to shake well, apply a pea sized drop and apply to clean skin. On the front of the bottle is a statement that it is for dry or combination skin.

If you apply this moisturizer to your hands, they will feel a bit too oily if you will then use your hands for something where completely dry hands are required.

This moisturizer arrived without special packaging. The bottle itself was wrapped in brown paper, but the bottle was not inside plastic, padding or a manufacturer's box.

The label on the bottle lists the ingredients, which are organic and all natural. Instructions on the bottle state to shake well and apply a small amount as needed to clean, moist skin.

The bottle also states that it was tested on people. Manufacturers can do this when the ingredients used in a product have already been found to be safe for human use.

The other side of the label states "This light, aromatic blend stimulates, uplifts and helps skin regenerate. Moisturize daily to keep skin healthy pliable and protected from environmental pollution and free radicals. Especially good for dry and mature skin."

The bottle itself is amber glass which is a nice touch but may make this product slightly less suitable for traveling.

One of the most compelling features of this product is its ingredient list. All items on the list are completely natural. It contains no parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates or synthetic fragrances.
