Smells awesome, but don't lick it!!

I am glad I bought this gloss. While it does not taste how I had hoped, it smells way better than I had imagined. It looks really good on me, especially over lipstick.

Use

This is a great product for a shiny but supple look on your lips. When Pink icicle is used over red lipstick, it really makes your lips pop and look amazing because it dulls down the red and adds that shimmery look that I love. Without lipstick, the color is very subtle; you see more of the shimmer than the color.

Something I really noticed was how long it lasted. It seemed to stay better than most. I rub my lips together a lot when wearing lip gloss or lip stick, and this stuff stayed on for hours. I usually do not get through the first hour.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

It is pretty thick and very slick, and impressively stays that way. My lips sparkled and shined with just a hint of pink for hours. It stays sticky, and when you open and close your mouth, there is a slight momentary pull to keep them closed. A slight downside to this product is when you kiss your partner, it will and does rub off onto his or her lips.

Pink icicle is a very light pink but has a lot of shimmer and shine to make your lips pop.

Taste / Aroma

It smells just like icing or maybe a cake batter. It definitely smells of something you would bake. When you sniff the bottle itself, be careful you don't fool yourself into thinking you can eat it. Once it is on, you do smell it less, but everyone else still smells it. Sitting together on the couch, my gentleman friend smelled it better than I could.

It tastes just like lipstick or lip gloss- the unflavoured kind. Making out with your partner is a no-no.

Performance

It will last you a very long time. I mentioned using it over lipstick and when I did this, the applicator sponge did absorb the color a little. It may be the kind of lipstick I use, but I thought I should mention that.

Water and a washcloth will remove the lip gloss best. If you use a tissue or toilet paper it does not really get it off, it just makes the white stuff stick to your lips.

Packaging

Pink icicle came in a cute .4 oz. tube with a silver cap. The applicator is attached to the silver cap. You can see the color of the gloss through the bottle. It is either a thick clear plastic or glass, but I have a hard time believing they sell lip gloss in a glass tube. You can see where the ingredients should be, but due to the size of the bottle and writing, you can hardly read it. If you are worried about allergens you may want to search the ingredients before using it.

I still think this product is awesome for what it is. It still smells scrumptious and my boy friend thinks it is a terribly sexy color on me. Do try Pink Icicle in the near future ladies, I bet your man will not be able to resist your sexy lips!
