I think this is totally giftable for any fan of color cosmetics on your gift list. Perfect size to tuck into a stocking or the pocket of a purse, or even into a larger gift basket.

Experience

I generally don't purchase cosmetics I can't sample or look at before hand, but I was pleased with this selection.

Follow-up commentary I don't like it anymore 4 months after original review

One fall off the bathroom counter and it shattered. It was also starting to become a pain that the colors of highlighter and eyeshadow weren't separated into separate pans.

@Kkay - I'm used to wearing mineral makeup, which has a tendency to be rich in pigmentation. These are not as highly pigmented, but true to color. They apply very smoothly and last for at least 6 hours (max time I wore them so far).
