Honey dust - edible powder by Kama Sutra - review by Alyxx

I got this as a present a few years ago, and there's still a lot left (or there was last time I saw it, when we broke up my ex didn't see it as a 'present' anymore, so I got a whole new tin). This stuff is excellent, just like every other Kama Sutra product I've tried. For foreplay, just take the included feather duster, dip it in the powder, and tease your lover while dusting them with the fine honey powder all over. It makes the skin feel soft and has a delightful honeysuckle scent, and the best part is it gives the skin a light, sweet taste to be kissed or licked off. Being made from honey, fructose and corn starch, it doesn't have the sugar-free taste lots of flavored massage or lubricant products do, and no scary chemicals to cause irritation. Honey also has moisturizing properties, so it's good for your skin.

This powder can also be used outside of the bedroom as a lightly perfumed body powder. It smells a whole lot better than baby powder, has no harsh perfumes, and the honey acts as a light moisturizer. It's great for hot days to keep your skin feeling soft and smooth. I hate the greasy feel lots of lotions have, so I always preferred this. It's easier to use a powderpuff to use it as a body powder, though. The feather duster doesn't provide particularly even or easy all-over application. Plus, I love the honeysuckle smell. And what better treat for a lover to be surprised by a sweet dusting of honey when they go to kiss your neck?

This is definitely a product I would recommend to anyone. It has everyday usefulness as a body powder, and it makes for fun foreplay for both partners. A good idea is to blindfold your partner before teasing and tickling them with the feather duster before kissing along the powder left on the body. The silkiness the honey dust gives to your skin makes the feeling of sliding against your partner during sex even better. I think everyone should have at least one tin of this around.

Speaking of the tin, the packaging on this is great. The powder itself comes in a plastic bag inside a silky cloth bag. I poured it into the silk bag, but to make it a little neater you could always keep it in the plastic bag. The bag and the feather duster are in a nice, fairly discreet tin that closes well, so as long as you tied the bag up tight and closed it in the tin, you shouldn't have to worry about it spilling. Mine was kept in a bag of assorted ropes and toys for a few months and never spilled. The tin is really pretty, as well, as all of Kama Sutra's products are. You could set this on your bathroom counter or nightstand and the words "Kama Sutra" would be the only hint that this could be any more than a body powder.
