Some places you just don't want razor burn

Coochy is a basic shaving creme as far as doing its job, it does. It even adds an extra scent but other than that it's a pretty basic shaving creme.
Published: February 15, 2010
Pros:
Prevent bumps and irritation, thick creamy texture, appealing scent.
Cons:
Because of the scent it make irritate those with very sensitive skin.

Use

This product is intended as pubic area shaving cream; the bottle also claims that it makes a great conditioner. As a shave cream it does work great - I have never gotten razor burn using this product. But due to the perfuming (Green tea, pear) it could irritate those with super-sensitive skin. As a hair product I'd stick with traditional shampoo.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The cream is thick and very viscous - exactly what you want in a shaving cream. It washes off easily enough and leaves skin moisturized.

Taste / Aroma

The flavour I used was "Green Tea", the scent if apparent if you smell the product but you won't notice it unless you are being intimate with the shaved area.

Performance

Because you don't need to use much at a time the bottle will last you. If you shave with it every day it will probably last about 5 months. As a regular shaver I love this product because it helps me avoid irritating the skin and gives a pleasant scent. There are some places you never want razor burn and this product will keep you from ever getting them there.

Packaging

The pump on the bottle is convenient for use but it doesn't re-close so it is hard to travel with. Squirt some into a travel bottle to take it with you.

I agree with you on the pumps... I would want to take this with me when I travel without worrying if it's going to squirt all over the place.

    • I really need to try this! I have been in the market for something like this.
    • It is pretty good. I'm not usually a fan of shave creams, but I recently purchased this product and it works well.

  • Who uses coochy rash free shave cream? Did it leave you satisfied with a rash free Brazilian?
    • I bought this for me and my guy to use. It worked wonders for his gentle areas. Unfortunately, I had a terrible reaction to Coochy... total bummer!
Has anyone else had a bad reaction to this product? Do you know a great product to use? I've been using olive oil based soaps that leave my skin silky and lux!
    • While I have no had a reaction, I do like Inttimo Kitty Shave Kreme by Wet. EF carries it but only in a tiny bottle )=
