Souffle That Won't Fall or Deflate

For a moisturizing body massage this product is top notch! It smells phenomenal, allows a beautiful surface for a gliding deep tissue massage, and won't leave you feeling oily and gross. A little goes a long way, making this definite value for the money.

extremely useful review
Imagine a singularly sensual experience that includes your partner (or partners) being massaged with chocolate that is kissable and smells like warm cocoa heaven and you have the true appeal of this product. Imagine also that you have soft, nummy smelling skin that glows softly and then you can see the versatility of Kama Sutra's Chocolate Body Soufflé.

The Soufflé arrives in a light cardboard box that is pretty enough to leave the jar in and store on a dresser or bedside table. The massage creme is packaged in a 7.5 oz glass jar with black plastic screw top lid. It has a very discrete and lovely label that looks good on a tray on your dressing table among your perfumes. The jar is pretty enough to be used after the soufflé is all gone just for the lovely smell that will linger.

The ingredient list will makes it very clear that this product is kissable, but not truly edible. Out of the jar it tastes kinda nasty, but when kissed off a lover's skin it leaves a hint of sweetness that is amazing. Water, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Flavor, Polyacrylamide, C13/14 Isoparrafin, Laureth/7, PEG/100 Stearate, Carbomer, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Hydroxide. Nothing in the ingredient list raises red flags; it's all pretty basic and safe.

The product smells like a warm cup of cocoa and lightly perfumes the room it's used in. It soaks into the skin easily, but leaves a lovely surface for a pretty intense massage should that be your desire. It warms slightly on the skin and relaxes tight muscles luxuriously. When completely soaked into the skin it doesn't feel heavy or oily, it won't leave you longing for a shower. It washes away cleanly with soap and warm water and leaves a lovely lingering scent that isn't overpowering, nor does it "sour". It doesn't stain sheets as far as I have been able to tell; we don't use satin sheets, though so if you do test a small unseen corner of your bedding for both color fastness and staining.

The product feels light and whipped in the hands; a little goes a long way. It leaves the skin soft, touchable, and imparts a slight glow that is probably due to the blood being brought to the surface from rubbing it in. I like to use it for my dry heels and elbows after a shower.

I wouldn't recommend this be used as a lube due to it's high sugar content and the addition of glycerine. This is really more of a massage creme than edible oil; it wouldn't taste good as a blowjob or cunnilingus enhancer. I would suggest the Oil of Love by Kama Sutra if you are looking for a lickable, heavy massage oil that would enhance oral lovin'.
Follow-up commentary
While this isn't a massage cream you can lovingly lick off your partner it is one of our favorites. It smells so damn good and while it isn't the very best for deep tissue massages it provides a great surface for a loving erotic prelude to love making. We thought all our oils and creams were ruined when we went for a long weekend and the airconditioning broke but when we returned home this was a bit thin but not ruined! We have still not used up the little jar and I am sure that when we do I'll be told to reorder it!
