Spic and span!
This is a great foaming cleane,r and you get a huge bang for your buck! Safe for all toys, so you don't have to worry! Would CERTAINLY recommend this to friends!Published: July 20, 2011
Pros:
Foaming, good value for price, good for all materials, gets it clean!
Cons:
None
The System JO Unscented Antibacterial Toy Cleaner is the first cleaner I ever used, and I really do like it! I picked it because it's a good value and it's safe for all types of toys! It is non-greasy and alcohol free, making it easy to use. It also advertises being petro-chemical, paraben, and glycerine free, which are great! The problem with glycerine is that it certainly goes bad after its use by date, so this toy cleaner will last until you use it all up!
It's latex, rubber, and silicone friendly, so you don't have to buy multiple cleaners for different toys, or worry about if the toy you're purchasing will be compatible with your cleaner! I really feel like it's a good way to get everything cleaner than just soap and water can!
It comes with a pump top that froths the cleaner into a nice foam consistency. The first time I used this I got a generous portion onto my cloth, but WOW! A little bit of this foam goes a long way! It also dries non-sticky and clear, though you will want to give your toys a quick rinse after you wipe them down with this cleaner!
The pump top doesn't lock, but it does come with a nice lid to keep it from leaking in your things! The bottle is also very discreet, so unless someone reads the label they'll simply assume it's a lotion, face scrub, or some other feminine product.
Overall, the bottle might be some 7 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, so it's not SUPER portable, but it's not bulky either! I store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Here's the ingredients list, just to make sure you aren't allergic to anything in it!
Triclosan, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, Propylen Glycol, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, and Purified Water

Aren't all toy cleaners anti-bacterial?
-
Ok so I guess I'm just confused.....aren't ALL toy cleaners anti bacterial?! O_O
-
I imagine that most are, but it might also be how like regular soap isn't always specifically anti-bacterial. I don't know the ins and outs of how soap is manufactured, though, so I'm not the best person to ask. :P

All soap (and likely all sex cleaners) will help to physically remove most bacteria. In most cases this is all you need for health. Antibacterial compounds don't work well on a porous toy because there can be enough organic material in the pores to block or neutralize tha antibacterial chemical, and for them to work you need to follow all directions for wait time. Since people can be or become sensitive to many of them and other heath effects are not well known I strongly advise that you not worry about whether something is antibacterial or not. Get nonporous toys, wash with soap, and if you need more assurance sanitize with 10% bleach or boil it. Otherwise use condoms.
