Use

It's just around the corner. The most romantic holiday of the year. The day when candies and hearts fill store shelves. The day that lovers long for and singles dread. Luckily, Coffret Bling Bling is made for both couples and singles. The sensual kit contains a pair of fluffy, adjustable handcuffs or jewelry. You might be wondering how a pair of handcuffs can be worn as jewelry. The trick is in the fact that the good people at Bijoux left it up to the user. The handcuffs are nothing more than a silver linked chain with two hooks at the end. Two fluffy feather covers adorn both ends, acting as a guide for handcuff usage. In order to form the handcuffs, you simply place each fuzzy end over the wrist as you would a bracelet and attach. The benefit? These are adjustable. They can be as small or large as you need. The cons? These are not as sturdy as normal handcuffs. Yes, these are just a feminine piece of bling, but in this kit, that's the point. Now, what about the jewelry part? The cuffs can be twirled around the wrist and arm about three times in order to create a gorgeous, soft, sparkly piece of bling. It's so pretty in fact, that I prefer to wear it this way. Twirling it around the ankle and leg is possible but does not achieve the same effect.

The kit also contains a feather duster and jar of edible talc powder. The feather duster is constructed out of about six medium black down feathers measuring about five inches. The base is a small black, plastic bead, about the size of a marble. Just large enough to grip with the fingertips but small enough to force you to keep a light soft stroke.

The plastic tub of talc contains about 1/4 cup total. Exact measures were worn away or nonexistent on my tub. The tin lid unscrews easily and is tight and sturdy enough to prevent spills.

Now for the serous part. The talc should never be applied to the genital area as it has been linked to certain kinds of cervical cancer. Consequently, this is not usable for oral sex.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The Bling Bling sweet glitter is an extremely fine powder which is about as light as air. It dusts on with a slightly grainy feel and then melts into the skin for a silky, non greasy feel. Because the powder is micro fine I recommend dipping the feather tickler into the tub of powder and then dusting your partner with the feathers. This will provide an even coat without much mess. Pouring the powder from the tub or sprinkling it could lead to a messy situation. This powder also clumps when moist, so contact with any fluids at all will cause a sticky mess. That being said, the glitter itself stays attached to the skin even after licking. That's right, the Bling Bling glitter acts as a shimmery form of bling makeup on top of a sensual aid. Dust it over your neck, chest, arms, or even eye lids before going out for a night on the town. It's long lasting and ultra sheer.

Taste / Aroma

This is where the product really let me down. I was expecting the body powder to have a flavor to it but it lacks any. Instead, it's sweet like sugar. I wouldn't have even known the product was edible except for the fact that the label uses the word SWEET. Nothing else hints as to the product being meant for licking. Even so, the sweetness is enough to keep my lover coming back for more, so I can't complain too much. The smell of the product is light. Just the soft smell of talc and not much else.

The ingredients are as follows: Glucose, Talc, Mica, Sodium Saccharin. For those of you who are sensitive to artificial sweeteners steer clear.

Performance

Even though I will be using this for Valentines day, my boyfriend and I had to try it out sooner. Since the handcuffs were so pretty we decided that I would wear them for the first try. I had my boyfriend attach the handcuffs to me. This is where we discovered that they attach more like jewelry than handcuffs. At first, I thought that was going to take away from the allure. After all, adjustable cuffs really aren't that hardcore, but once they were on, and I could see how pretty they made me look, I didn't care. The effect was gorgeous and that's what the kit is meant for, beauty not bondage. Then, I laid back and watched as my boyfriend took out the talc and tickling feather. The sheets got a little glitter on them but all in all, he did a pretty good job of being neat. The feather felt soft against my skin and I could hardly feel the talc go on. What I could feel were luscious, light tickles cascading up and down my body from the feathers. He turned me over and tickled my lower back and butt. I love being tickled there. Then, he licked every inch of the talc off. Of course, the glitter stayed in place and I was left sparkling, literally. Even after a shower the glitter was still there. This might be a problem for those who don't want to shimmer in public, but for me it's just a part of the perks.

Packaging

The kit comes in a black, matted finished box with a sliding lid. Glossy black floral arrangements adorn the entire tin from top to bottom. On the bottom is a short description of the contents in about ten different languages. With the box being so pretty it is perfect for gift giving and discreet enough for travel if you first remove all labeled stickers. Sadly, the kit does not come with any instructions.
Follow-up commentary
I have to be honest here, I don't use the handcuffs as much as I use the body glitter. The glitter is so light that it makes a wonderful cosmetic for nights on the town or date night. Either way, I have used the body glitter at least 25 times and there is still more in the jar! I wasn't expecting that. A little really does go a long way.

The handcuffs are just a little too flimsy for my boyfriend. He has come to prefer the sturdier ones, but I still think they're pretty.

But yes, I suppose one might expect a little bit of flavor when there is so many flavored dusts out there. Very good review.
