Splish Splash, I was taking a bath, makin' sure my coochy's all clean..

Sliquid Splash is an intimate cleanser that leaves my sensitive areas feeling extremely refreshed, moisturized and best of all..clean! It has not given me any type of irritation, and since it's hypoallergenic I think that'll be the case for most. It's a great alternative to the other feminine washes available at drugstores that always smell so clinical and just not sexy, I much prefer the honeydew cucumber scent to those!

extremely useful review
I'm one of those sensitive ladies that can't use regular soap on my labia and surrounding area. It causes me a burning sensation similar to a UTI for a few hours afterwards each time, it's really not fun. I've also never liked the normal feminine washes that you find at the drugstore. I'm not really sure why honestly, but I think it has something to do with always seeing them in my mom's shower and the smell of them just aren't sexy to me. I've used them before in the past, and had decent luck, it just doesn't scream sexy lady bits to me. I wanted something that would smell fun and would make me feel sexy. That's where Sliquid Splash comes in. I love all the Sliquid products that I had tried and so I figured there was a good chance I'd love Sliquid Splash too.

Sliquid Splash is a feminine wash that comes in either an unscented version or in some fun scents. I chose the honeydew cucumber one, and Eden also carries a grapefruit thyme version. The honeydew cucumber smells mostly like honeydew but if you try you can smell a bit of the cucumber freshness in it too. I love the scent, it's very clean and refreshing, though the scent doesn't actually seem to last. Which is nice though, my husband doesn't want to be smelling honeydew during sex, he wants to smell me.

It's simple to use, you just pour a small amount onto a washcloth or your fingertips and wash your intimate area, then rinse away thoroughly. I feel much cleaner than I do when just rinsing with water and it leaves me feeling moisturized with no irritation. The formula is hypoallergenic, glycerin free and it's balanced to complement a woman's PH. It also is said to remove odor causing bacteria, which is always a good thing!

The honeydew one is a pearlescent green color and the bottle is really cute. It's not any less discreet than a bottle of Summer's Eve or similar feminine wash, and I personally find this bottle a lot cuter than that. It's a somewhat small bottle, but it contains 8.5 oz, which should last quite a while. You really don't need much each time since you're washing such a small area with it...maybe a dime sized amount? I've been using it for about a week now and the bottle still looks like it hasn't even been used. This is something I'll definitely be purchasing again.

While it is intended for more intimate areas, there's nothing that says you can't use this as a body wash. Though, since the rest of my body can handle other types of cleansers I'll be saving Sliquid Splash as a feminine wash so that I get to enjoy it longer!

Sliquid does not do any Animal Testing and the ingredients is a short list with many natural ingredients.

Purified Water, Sodium Coc Sulfate (derived from coconut oil), Coconut Betaine (again..from coconut oil), Coco Amide (yep you guessed it..from coconut oil), Sea Salt, Citric Acid, EGMS, Essential Oil Fragrances, DMDM Hydantoin, and FC&C Green #3.

DMDM is a formaldehyde releaser, but it's an organic compound found in many shampoos and skin products. It is an antimicrobial that releases formaldehyde which makes the environment less favorable to microorganisms. The amount in Splash is pretty small, so it should not cause any irritation, I know it doesn't for me.

EGMS is another word for Glycol Stearate, which is used to give the product it's pearlescent look. It does seem like this one could have been left out since the pearl look is purely aesthetic, but it does appear to be a pretty safe ingredient and doesn't cause any concerns personally.

As with anything that you use on your body it's good to research the ingredients list yourself to make sure you don't have any personal concerns. It's something I've started to do with all my products and it makes me feel a lot more aware of the choices I make for my body products.
Follow-up commentary
Well, it's been a little over two months now, and I can say that with using this regularly in the shower I've still not experienced any kind of negative effect from using this! I'm so glad that I happened upon this stuff, it's nice to be able to use something to allow me to feel fresh and clean without worrying if I was going to get a burning irritation from it later in the day. I also have started using this to clean some of my toys with after use, since I know that it's sensitive enough not to leave any kind of residue on them that will later irritate me. The only question is: Which scent do I buy next? Luckily I have some time to figure that one out, as the bottle is still over half full!

Oh I did not know there were specific soaps for our most intimate places. That's quite interesting, and is definitely getting on my wish list. Thanks for the review.
