Squeaky Clean Sex!
It's a great toy cleaner with a semi-functional container. Well worth it for the smell, consistency, and fun bursting beads.Published: January 16, 2011
Pros:
Cleans, shines, and moisturizes
Cons:
Difficult to use container
This cleaner does its job - and well. I have used it on all of my toys (all of which are silicone), and it leaves them clean (with limited scrubbing or effort), beautifully shiny, fresh smelling, and bacteria-free. The most exciting part of the cleaner, however, is that it moisturizes and protects your toys in a way that isn't bad for the users either.
Two other pluses are its consistency and smell.
1) It is a thick gel, meaning that you can use a little bit (so the bottle, though small, lasts a looong time) and direct it where you want (in case your toy isn't entirely water-proof). It is also water-based, and rinses off beautifully, leaving no residue or obnoxiously strong scent. That having been said, you do have to wash it off, unlike some that you can just spray on and leave.
2) It smells deliciously clean - kinda like fresh laundry scent, but for your toys.
My main complaint, however, is the container. Although it is an attractive container, it has it's issues: it isn't entirely discrete (it says "Toy Cleaner" on the front in small letters) and the top comes off if you pull it too hard, and although it is easily snapped back on, its kind of annoying to deal with. The other negative aspect of the container is that you can't store it on its head (upside down), so when you are running low on the cleaner, it is difficult to get the gel to move down towards the cap.
Here's the ingredients off the back:
Active ingredient: Triclosan - antimicrobial.
Inactive ingredients: Acrylate Copolymer, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Cellulose, Chromium Hydroxide Freens, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Glycerl Oleate, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Iron Oxides, Lactose, Mannitol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Polyquarternium-7, Propylene Glycol, SD Alcohol 40, Sodium C14-16, Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Water.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I've had this cleaner for a while and it's still doing the job! The best part is how little you need to use to do the job, meaning I still have quite a bit left even 6 months later.

Top problems?
-
The top looks good but is hard to open and when useing strength it pops off. Is this normal? any one have the same problems with the bottle?
-
Yep, I covered that in my review. First time I pulled the cap up I popped it right off, but it popped right back on too. Mine even looks like it's about to fall apart but hasn't yet.

WHATS THE BEST CLEANER?

WHAT CHEMICAL IS THE BEST TO CLEAN TOYS WITH AND WILL NOT HURT YOU?

The only cleaner I've ever used that was made specifically for toys was WET brand's Keep It Clean. I still use it and swear by it, you can read my review on it. It cleans thoroughly, does not leave residue, rinses clean, smells awesome, and it's a foaming cleanser which makes the bottle last forever and provides a more thorough clean on anything that has a texture to it. I have the Butterfly Kiss and the butterfly part has wings, antennae, and several lines etched along his belly. Keep It Clean gets in there just fine. On a side note, I was cleaning him the other day and his wing slipped from between my fingers and flicked soapy water in my eye, haha. So I can also say that Keep It Clean will not burn your eyes, at least not from a small amount.

Thank you for viewing Climax bursts toy cleaner – toy cleanser review page!

I am on my fifth bottle and have never looked back, GREAT cleaner!
The cap if the only part I do not like as well. One cap broke when I first opened it, one flew off, (like yours) but the rest have done good. Small price makes it all good though.
Good first review and welcome to Eden.
My cap popped off too, lol. Great job for your first review
Good review!
Awesome review thanks!!
Great review, I'll definitely be trying this.
I didn't even think about the cap with my other lubes. I guess I never finish a bottle off!
