Tingle gel - arousal lube by Doc Johnson - review by OhMy!

Tingle gel, as its name implies, is designed for couples or newlyweds wanting to add some flavor and stimulation for foreplay or during sex. It is definitely for external use only and can be applied to nipples, genitals, or any other place you want! Internal use may cause some unexpected irritations or problems.

Unlike other products, this stuff has an unusual consistency. It is semi-firm, yet can barely stay together when put under pressure, or when combined with water even your own saliva. I would compare it to jello that's been sitting in the hot sun for a while - stable on the outside, but liquid on the inside. I found it difficult to use in places where a runny consistency is not ideal, and often over-applied to make up for it. This often leads to irritation of your partners parts rather than stimulation.

This product doesn't necessarily become sticky, but it evaporates rather quickly, leaving a residue that then becomes sticky. This means you've got to "get in and get your business done" before things get ugly. This also does not make it ideal for masturbation/solo use.

While it sounds interesting on paper, the taste and aroma is awful in reality. It's a strange combination of strawberry and eucalyptus that really doesn't achieve much. It reminds me of combining Kool-aid and Vick's Vapo-rub in a semi-jello mixture.

This product does not last long. It has a very low "play" tolerance, and quickly goes from being smooth and workable to runny and eventually sticky. This does not make it ideal for the very thing it was intended! As with all stimulating gels, you have to be careful to not over-apply, or use in small amounts until you an your partner find the right dose.

The product reacts well to water, so clean up is easy. I recommend washing off any excess gel afterward to avoid unneeded irritations or problems from over-stimulation or from product residue. Since the product is dyed red, you may want to be careful about getting this on lighter-colored sheets. Washing them promptly usually solves this issue, but I have had a few instances that did not wash out.

The jar is a nice durable alternative to plastic squeeze tubes. This means it does not leak, and generally seals to avoid it drying out. However, the jar is a lot larger than some other products and is almost overkill for use in bed. I would be nice to see this in smaller jars that can pass airport security without scrutiny, and not be as intrusive in bed.

Not worth the money. I suggest Clitoral Arousal gel - item SE224400 by California Exotics as a better alternative.
