Suntouched edible candles review
I can spend hours just touching my partner to learn what makes him feel good and to memorize every inch of his skin. The "wax" melts into beautiful massage oil that leaves the skin feeling soft and pampered, not greasy or even "waxy".Published: September 19, 2007
I was excited by this product because it isn't often that we stop to enjoy the softer side of sex. I have tried other flavored massage oils, lubes, etc. but am often left with a bad taste in my mouth...literally. Experience has made me cynical, but I kept an open mind with the Suntouch Edible Candles.
When I first opened the package, I was struck by the scent of Watermelon Jolly Ranchers. It was enticing, to say the least. With exception of the graphic on the top of the tin, the packaging is fairly plain. In my opinion, that is a good thing. I like toys, aids, whatever you want to call them that are pretty enough and non-descript enough that I don't have to find a hiding place for them. These candles fit right into the collection of candles already present on my vanity. I hadn't even lit them and already I was falling in love.
Suntouch has taken the idea of a sensual massage to a new and wonderful level. After all, candle light can be very romantic. A massage is a perfect way to connect as a couple, to prolong the pleasure and closeness we feel. I can spend hours just touching my partner to learn what makes him feel good and to memorize every inch of his skin. With the Suntouch Edible Candles, I can do that easily. The "wax" melts into beautiful massage oil that leaves the skin feeling soft and pampered, not greasy or even "waxy". The spoon that is included allows you to dribble the oil onto your partner without burning your fingers on the flame or the hot tin. In addition, the wax is warm, not hot. It can easily be poured directly onto the skin without risk of burning your partner. The candles are made from all natural ingredients like soybean oil and vitamin E, so you do not have to worry about it irritating delicate tissues. I am not sure how a condom would hold up to the emollients, so consider this a friendly warning about combining the two. The scents are not as strong on the skin as they are when not being burned, so my partner does not have to feel as though he is going to smell like a fruit basket later in the day.
I found it hard to find any negatives to the candles at all, but there are a few things I will mention as "less than positives." The candles are labeled as edible, and I did enjoy taking a few nibbles and licks of my love while giving him a massage. It did not leave a funny taste in my mouth, which allowed us to take the massage to another level of sensuality. However, it did not have any flavor at all. While this would not really rate as a negative because no taste is better than a bad taste, it is still worth mentioning. Also, I wasn't fond of the strawberry scent, but the watermelon and cherry were very nice.
I give the candles five stars because it was a stretch to even find a negative. In addition, they created incredible ambiance and aided in a beautiful sensual massage.

So you would pretty much be eating straight oil, right?
-
You're more supposed to lick it off of your partner after it's been rubbed in some. I guess it would kind of be like eating straight oil, but I wouldn't eat it right out of the container.

Who's tried this?

i was wondering what purpose anyone used it for other than the candle? & how they went about using it? i don't see myself eating this with a spoon!

It's a massage candle. You melt down the candle until there is a pool of wax and use it on various areas of the body. It's inedible in case you forget your senses and decide to lick those same areas.

The spoon is so that once the wax melts down, you can either pour it straight from the tin or spoon it out. It combines the edible massage thing with the hot wax fetish thing. I've never tried it, but we sell them at work and they smell really good. Particularly the vanilla ice cream, and the strawberry seriously smells like a package a fresh strawberries. I hope they taste just as good. If you try it, please write a review!
