Super Sweet (Almond) Massage

If you don't mind stronger scents, and want a slick, softening massage this is the oil for you! This oil is allergy-tested and non irritating with a sweet scent and a large bottle. You really can't go wrong!

Use

Obviously, KamaSutra's massage oil is meant to be used as a massage aid. The oil is highly scented to promote a relaxing experience for your senses as well. The best use for this product? Providing your partner with a skin-soothing deep massage. Though I also use this sweet-smelling oil as a moisturizer after shaving or bathing.

This product is dermatologist reviewed and allergy tested. Unless you are highly allergic to parfums or oils, this product would be fine for even sensitive skin. And as always, don't use oils with condoms!

Ingredients: Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Pistacia Vera Seed Oil, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Prunus Amygdalus (Sweet Almond) Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Tocopheryl Acetate, Lecithin, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This oil is very light, thin, and runny. Use caution when pouring, as it can run right off body parts or your hands. It feels light on the skin and is easily poured from the pop-top lid.

This is high-quality oil and since it is a blend of oils, it does not leave behind a sticky residue. Although this oil is light it will still take approximately 10 minutes to absorb completely into the skin. But when it does, all that's left is silky smooth skin and a light almond blossom scent.

Taste / Aroma

When you pop the lid open, your nose is immediately greeted by the super sweet almond blossom aroma. It is a strong scent, but not at all unpleasant if you enjoy the almond scent. I loved it! The scent smells exactly as it is intended to: Sweet Almond. Despite the fact that this is a blend on several different oils, it smells strong enough to be pure Sweet Almond oil. The scent reminds me of the Jergen's Almond lotion.

The oil will be easily detected lingering in the air during a massage by both parties. It's much lighter when it's being absorbed but we loved the sweet smell surrounding us, it really set the mood.

This product is meant for internal use only and I would advise against licking large amounts of this oil up after use but if you happen to get a taste, it is not unpleasant and it tastes just as you would imagine oil would.

Performance

A quarter-sized amount of this oil should last at least 15 minutes during a massage. If you plan on giving a long massage you will have to re-apply. This oil is absorbed quickly, but not quickly enough to be agitating.

Unless you do not enjoy the scent of this oil, there should be no need to wash yourself off after use. It will leave the skin soft and smooth with a lingering almond scent that is not nearly as strong as when its concentrated in the bottle.

Packaging

I was pleasantly surprised at how large this bottle is. There is a nice 8 ounces in this bottle. The bottle is longer than it is fatter, so it's easily held in your hands and the pop-top allows for perfect pouring.

I have had no problems with this bottle like I have with other oils in the past, but if you plan to travel with this bottle I would suggest putting it in a Ziplock baggie. It is rather discreet with its clear bottle and pretty label.

The front label has a KamaSutra logo and says "Sweet Almond" is large lettering, followed by smaller lettering that says "Sensual combination of calming oils to help relaxation". The back label states the purpose of certain oils and says this oil will leave your skin feeling "velvety soft". It also says it's dermatologist reviewed and allergy tested and to use externally only.

The bottle features several different languages of the description followed by the list of ingredients.

Experience

I love KamaSutra products and this oil is no exception! The smell, while strong, is amazing and the oil works great to soften my skin as well as for a massage. I even find myself running some under the bath water for a skin-softening bath. This bottle lasts through quite a few uses thanks to its large size. Great product!

Great review and you're right about the scent. This is probably one of the strongest smelling oils I've used, but it's so lovely.

      Here's the problem- There are 5 scents to choose from, but no way to know what each one smells like! There is no description of any kind! And most of the names (Pleasure Garden, Healing Blend, Serenity and soaring Spirit) give no hint as to what scents they include!

      You could read the reviews people have posted.. 23 reviews in total that offer a lot of insight into the product and what it smells like :)

      Ah, you're right! I read the first 3 reviews that had been posted on this product, and was discouraged when they didn't describe all 5 scents. After reading your response, I decided to go through and read every review for this product, in search of descriptions.

      This one contains oils from Italian bergamot, ylang ylang, neroli, rose, lavender, and sandalwood. To me it smells like a sexy blend of sandalwood and lavender. It's very warm and cozy.

      It contains oils from warm cedar, sweet marjoram, orange, and lavender. I think this one smells the lightest and kinda smells like a mix of sweet almond and healing blend. It doesn't smell unique. It's a very relaxing scent and it's the lightest."
