Lip lovely set - lip balm discontinued by Bella Il Fiore - review by Iris Rowan

I just recently tried the Lip Lovely set with a friend of mine. I suffer from constantly dry and cracked lips and have tried a large variety of lip balm and chap stick products with no positive outcome. With most lip products, I have to continuously reapply the product several times an hour. Most products I have used leave a very greasy feeling on my lips which leaves a greasy residue on anything my lips touch. Other products have a very displeasing taste or just soak into my lips right away.

None of this applies to the Lip Lovely set. The fact that it consists of many natural ingredients such as coconut oil, seed oil, shea butter and beeswax and had vitamin E in it made it sound very promising. Vitamin E is very good for the body as it's packed with antioxidants and has anti-aging properties as well as UV protection. The sugar scrub that was applied was different at first, it wasn't something I'm used to but it really did help get about 75% of the dead and chapped skin off my lips. It was really fun to apply and work into my lips and my friend and I kept looking at each other while "scrubbing" and cracking up. The fact that it was literally made out of sugar made me want to eat it and I did get some on my teeth but all I could taste was sugar. The Lip balm we used after ward was what I was most dubious of to begin with. I thought it was going to be similar to other products I have used in the past. I expected it to soak in really fast or feel like I smeared Vaseline on my lips but it had a very smooth, very comforting texture and there was just a slight tingling sensation. The lip balm had no taste and no smell. Well, that I was aware of anyway.

I am writing this review three hours after using the Lip Lovely set and my lips still feel very smooth, very soft and still have a bit of the lip balm on them even after eating, smoking and drinking my soda pop. Absolutely no reapplication needed! It did not leave a greasy residue on anything. Normally if I have on lip stick, chap stick, lip gloss, ect. my husband will not kiss me on the lips or share a cigarette with me. I've been kissed so many times in the past three hours and my husband says the he thinks it's some pretty stellar stuff. He says that my lips felt about 35%-40% better than they did before! And that just after one application! He says it has made a drastic improvement. I totally and completely agree!!!

I used this product with a friend, and since then that friend has become a not friend. So, I haven't been able to use it again, but I have been seriously thinking about getting it for myself in the near future.
