Nice nuggets male comfort lotion - lotion discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by meitman

Have you ever been to an amusement park or someplace that requires a lot of walking and saw a guy who was walking like he just finished riding a donkey all day? Well, I have been that guy and let me tell you chaffing and soreness is a real problem. If you've also been there, then this product is for you. Doc Johnson has created a nice product to help prevent sweating, sticking, chafing, and odor for the male genital area. This lotion's ingredients read similar to many lotions including aloe, vitamin E, natural plant ingredients and is aluminum and talc-free. The best use for this product would be to apply daily at the start of your day to help prevent the above issues.

Nice Nuggets has a somewhat typical lotion consistency but is definitely on the thinner side. It comes out smooth and quick and I would avoid turning your hand over because the lotion will slide off your hand pretty easily. I would have liked the consistency to be a little thicker to prevent it falling off your hand but it is not a deal-breaker. What works best for me is to place the instructed amount into the palm of my hand and to rub my hands together briefly. The lotion then stays on my hands well enough for me to apply it to the desired areas. I don't typically use lotion so to me any lotion left on the skin feels slightly greasy (and Nice Nuggets is no different) but you may view it differently if you regularly use lotion. I prefer to wash my hands after application.

This lotion does have a slight lotion smell but I did not mind it. It is noticeable at first but not strong enough that people will smell you coming. It smells the strongest after application but as you go about your day the smell fades. Even though the smell of the lotion fades it does very well at what it claims by reducing any odor that would otherwise occur from normal sweating throughout the day. I have not been able to pin down an exact similar smell to describe it but I would say it is somewhat masculine and does not really smell like flowers or vanilla. I do not believe this product was intended for tasting. It would make your skin taste like any other lotion and would probably be best to avoid any oral play until later in the day when the lotion would not be as strong. I would apply the lotion first thing in the morning and on the one day my wife and I had sex before I showered she did not notice any taste by afternoon. Your experiences may vary depending on how much of the product you applied and how recently.

I was not sure how well this product would work throughout the course of a day, but was pleasantly surprised by how long it lasted. For a normal work day which did not include extended time outside in summer or aggressive physical labor the product lasted all day with little to no sweating, sticking, or odor. I have not had one issue with chafing since using this product but your experiences may vary based on your body and amount used. On a couple of days where I was out in the heat of summer more and had to exert more physical effort sweating occurred and was probably unavoidable, but there was no sticking and little to no odor after a long day. I would suggest reapplication (probably only once will be needed) about halfway through your day if you are going to be doing an excessive amount of walking or will be in conditions that will make you more prone to sweating and chafing. For me during the course of a normal work week (as well as being outside most of the day on one of the days) the product did what it claimed to satisfactorily without the need for reapplication.

The product is packaged beautifully in a nice black and blue box. The box is like any other cologne or similar package and provides all the information you would need; everything from how much to use to what the product is intended for and a list of ingredients is printed on the box itself. The lotion tube is equally as well designed in black and blue with ingredients listed and recommended application amount included. My lotion is dated with an expiration date on the bottle that is two years in the future giving a person plenty of time to use the product before it expires. The tube has an easy flip-open top for applying the lotion. Although the lid snaps closed nicely and I did not have any issues with leakage, I would probably transport it in a seal-able plastic bag to prevent any leakage during travel. My only real concern with this product is in the name. While you may be different, I personally would get ridiculed if my acquaintances saw me carrying a bottle of lotion around never mind the fact that it is clearly labeled and intended for my "nuggets". I would not feel comfortable carrying it around with me and would therefore not be able to reapply throughout the day if needed. For me this is a product best suited for the privacy of my own home but you may feel differently. I would not let it be a deal-breaker if you need relief from sweating, sticking, chafing, and/or odor in your your life.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this product and would be open to purchasing it again. This product does what it claims to and has no glaring downfalls in my own experience.
