The Sweet Escape Desserted Island set is an amazing gift item for the young, old and anyone in between. I do admit that with the sweet odor I usually think of a younger person wearing these lighter and sweeter aromas. I changed my mind, though, after I had worn it for a couple of days. Either that or I am younger than I thought I was!

I would recommend the bath and shower froth (bath wash), and the velveteen hand creme for usage by older children and adults. The aroma is targeted more towards women than for men. However, other then the aroma, there is no reason a man could not use these products.

The Bath & Shower Froth is great in the tub or shower as a soap alternative. It is a great cleanser and helps nourish your skin. The Velveteen Hand Creme moisturizes and rejuvinates your skin keeping it soft, supple and healthy.

DESSERTED ISLAND SUPREMELY RICH BATH AND SHOWER FROTH:
The bath froth is a beautiful, pale golden shimmery color that is very visible inside the clear plastic bottle. It has the same consistence as liquid Dial, or other equivalent. It pours nicely from the lid and feels very smooth and slick. The bath froth does not stay in place very well if you use your hands or a bath scrunchie, but it does stay in place on a washcloth or bath sponge. I used both a washcloth and a bath scrunchie, and have to admit the foam was not as thick and luxurious on the washcloth as it was on the scrunchie. The froth washed off easily and left a nice aroma and no oils or greasy feelings. I felt very fresh and clean after washing with this product.

VELVETEEN HAND CREME:,
The hand creme is packaged in a opaque plastic squeeze tube and the lotion is not visible inside. It is very easy to squeeze out of the tube and has a consistency like thin hair conditioner. It feels slick and smooth, stays in place very well and comes out the color of light sandstone. It glides onto your skin smoothly and absorbs almost immediately upon rubbing it on. There is absolutely no greasy, oily or other residue left on your skin after massaging it in. The color is actually clear and is not visible in any way. This product left NO stains on either my clothing or blankets, but take care until absorbed.

Both products smell absolutely delicious, however tasting is not recommended. I did for this review. The lotion tastes greasy and has a chemically lotion taste with a bit of sweetness that was also kind of bitter. I had my milk ready prior to this test and the taste went away immediately. After applied in to your skin, there is a slight taste of the aroma but ONLY when you breathe in while you lick it, otherwise their is no taste. The bath froth tastes like a basic soap with a very bitter and isopropyl alcohol flavor. This took a half of a glass to dispel. However, if you breathe in while you taste, you will imagine a slight sweet flavor again. This made my lips and tongue tingle for about 5 minutes. DO NOT INGEST!

The aroma is a very sweet vanilla and coconut smell that blends together to form a nice coconut meringue aroma with a hint of roasted almond. I absolutely loved it, it was very strong in the bathroom, like walking into a bakery that just pulled coconut macaroons out of the oven. The odor lightened up considerable to a very light form of the same aromas. It was noticeable within a foot and a half or closer for about 9 hours and lingered in the skin for about 12 hours.

Both products performed above and beyond my expectations. With the froth, I felt refreshed, soft and silky and very clean. With a lot of the bath washes, I feel like I washed with perfumed dish soap and my skin is comparable, not this one!It fulfilled the nourish and rejuvination as advertised. The lotion absorbs faster than any other I have tried and left no residue of any kind on my skin. I love these products! My skin has not been this soft for quite awhile.

This set comes in a simply decorated but thin cardboard box. It is not appropriate for storage, but works well as a box for the gift. The front shows a picture of each item and the back is chock full of information about the products as well as an ingredient list for each of them.

The bath and shower froth is packaged in a clear plastic bottle such as many over-sized lotions and hair conditioners. It has the basic screw on lid that flips up on one side for pouring.This weighs in at a hefty 17.4 oz, a little bit goes a long ways and it should be at least a couple of months before you run out.

The hand creme is in a plastic squeeze tube about half the size of a large toothpaste. Like the toothpaste, it has a flip lid that snaps shut to seal the cap. If you only use it for hands, elbows and knees it should last quite awhile as well. Unless you are a lotion addict or use it as an all body lotion, then it will run out in a few weeks. A little bit goes a long way with this as well.

Neither product leaked as long as I remembered to seal the tops back properly. I did lay the froth on its side with an open flip top and it did pour out, the lotion was good as long as there was no pressure applied to the tube.
