The "Other Mr. Clean"
Overall this products keeps your toys clean, safe and smelling fresh, however it is not good to use for your oral toys because of the taste.Published: January 19, 2012
Pros:
Great cleaner
Cons:
Taste
This is the only toy cleaner I use so I can't quite go and say it's the best out there. However, I can say this toy cleaner is awesome. I clean all my toys before and after each use (I use it both on my jelly and silicone toys). Not only does it keep my toys clean, but it keeps them smelling fresh.
I also love how easy to use it is. What I do first is wash the toys under warm water, then, spray it on my toys, rub it around and then rinse it off under the water, finish it off by wiping with a clean towel. A few minutes and your toys are fresh, sanitary and ready for next time! It does not leave any residue and does no damage to toys.
I would NOT recommend this product to people who clean their toys before hand and then do oral play with them. The taste is about the equivalent of taking a bottle of your perfume and spritzing it on your tongue. Not at all pleasant. This cleaner has a slight scent to it, but by no means is it overwhelming. After a few minutes it fades off into "lingering". If you are sensitive to smells you may find it bothersome, but on the upside it very nicely gets rid of the "new toy" smell.
Now that you know your toys are safe you should also know that I have never had a bad reaction to this product. It only contains 5 ingredients: water, cleaning agent, disinfectant, residue remover and fragrance! No harsh ingredients to hurt you.
To finish off, the 8oz bottle for the $10 is an awesome deal. I spray my toys generously making sure they get sanitized properly and I have had my bottle for a few months now! Granted, the past few months I've only been playing with my toys maybe 2 times a week on average, but I still think it's a great value.

What does before & after do.. before you use it?
-
Is it both a lubricant and a sanitizer? how does that work?
-
It is not a lubricant but merely cleans the toys. When the toy is sitting around, it gathers fungal spores, dust, and bacteria.
-
Before you use it it sits there and looks pretty :P
In theory you're supposed to use it before you use your toys and then after you use your toys to ensure optimal cleanness. At least according to the bottle.

Before & After Toy Cleaner...
-
This one got lots of great reviews, but I've got a couple of questions for all you reviewers who use this. The description says you have to "spray, wipe, then rinse" but most of the reviews say no rinsing required. Can you guys confirm there's no residue if you don't rinse? One review mentioned it didn't clean the crevices of textured toys well. Anyone else have that experience? Would you say it replaces the soap & water routine completely?
-
Nah, it doesn't replace soap and water, in my opinion. It may be because I've used soap and water for so long, but I just don't see the benefit to spraying something and then wiping it off. I find the cleaner hard to wipe off on toys w/ texture, and maybe I'm nuts, but then I don't feel like a toy is really clean. It would do in a pinch, but I don't mind soap and water so that's what I go for 90% of the time.

I like the the idea of toy cleaner but I always wondered what exactly you wipe down with? What's a good cloth for that?
