Pleasure wipes tub - wipes discontinued by GS Wipes - review by Happy Camper

We've all been there: we have a $50 toy in our cart and we're just $9.00 shy of free shipping. Why not search for $10 accessories that look as luxurious and dandy as the Pleasure Wipes tub? Sure, it's not something you really need but you'd end up paying the cost in shipping fees anyway. This is how I came to order the Pleasure Wipes Tub in Mango.

Now there was one little detail I had assumed when I ordered these wipes and I'm going to clear it up for the readers now: these are not toy cleaning wipes. You're more than welcome to wipe your toys down with them before you wash them and if your soap happens to smell funny then you can freshen them up with these before you play with them, but the wipes themselves will not kill of your germs. You're better off looking at the Afterglow Wipes or the Pjur Med Clean Wipes. The good news is that while they will not be sufficient to clean your toys, these wipes are so much nicer on the body than anything else I've cleaned up with. Whether it's a sticky lube I want off me or if I had the misfortune (and the privilege) of having to clean cum off my face, I am so glad that I have something to use that isn't simply a Kleenex! These are really nice and moist and freshly scented to make you actually feel clean. They won't do much for the sweat you've worked up, but it works wonders on lubes and body fluids.

The Mango scent is fresh and light and not completely overpowering. It's just enough to cover up any of the not so pleasant smells that come with condoms, toy cleaner, and different types of lube. I have not recently bought any TPR or similar material toys that tend to smell when they come out of the packaging but I would suspect that while these wipes wouldn't eliminated such a scent, they might drastically reduce it the first few times you use your toy until hopefully that smell goes away.

I'm also happy to report that my skin loves this stuff. I am the type of woman who usually has to buy things that are hypo-allergenic or for sensitive skin because there are a lot of skin products that I find to be rather irritating. I have not experienced any irritation with the Pleasure Wipes, in fact, it makes my skin feel really good. I only wish that I could find face wipes that my skin liked as much as my new sex wipes.

The one complaint I might be able to make about this product is that they are what I would call subtly moist as opposed to very moist. While the lid is designed to basically keep all the air out and all the moisture in, I've seen much more impressive packaging technology elsewhere and I just wish they had utilized it here. It does seem to me that the wipes on the bottom tend to be more moist than the wipes on the top.

But overall, I would say these are a great simple product. If you're sick of cleaning lube and sex juices off of you with Kleenex or washcloths or whatever else you use, and you want to help eliminate some of that sticky dirty post sex feelings (although sometimes that can be hot), I would definitely recommend you treat yourself right and just pitch in ten dollars for a tub of these. At least for those special occasions when you feel like being pampered post-sex.
