The Post-Climax Burst
Although I wouldn't mind trying out other cleaners, I am extremely satisfied with Climax Bursts. The bottle is not discreet, but it is small and easy to hide! The cleaner is the perfect texture and it seems like the small amount will last me for quite a while.Published: April 27, 2011

When I bought my first ever toy, I wasn't sure how I was going to clean it. I'm always a little OCD when it comes to my body and, since my first toy was Jelly, I couldn't boil it.
A quick search revealed a toy cleaner I couldn't resist. Bright green and yellow beads, shiny bubble lid, and the promise of being anti-bacterial. Climax Bursts products remind me of body wash, and I discovered why: "Vitamin E enriched for skin protection."
When the bottle arrived I was excited to "get to work" and try it out! I decided the best way for me to discreetly use a bottle labeled "CLIMAX BURSTS" would be to take my toy into the shower and clean it there. Luckily, Climax Bursts Toy Cleaner is water based, so it can be used with ANY toy!
Opening the bottle initially presented a problem. At first I started twisting the top off, but I figured out how to pop the clear bubble up shortly afterward.
I was surprised to find that the cleaner had an amazingly light scent. I had expected it to smell chemically, but I was instead greeted by fresh citrus. The first squirt took a second, and I was worried my bottle was already clogged, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a thick liquid, comparable to shower gel. It didn't drip off of my toy and down the drain like I had expected.
I really liked seeing the little colored beads burst, and it made me spend more time cleaning my toy then I might have otherwise. I read several reviews and saw that some had trouble removing the beads from their toys; however, when using it with my Jesse Jane's Smokin Pistol, which is covered in detail, I had no trouble at all.
The bottle does instruct the user to "Apply generously to all toy surfaces, wait 30 seconds and wipe, rinse completely with clean water." One small complaint was that I didn't find these directions until the third time using Climax Bursts Toy Cleaner because the bottle text is SO small.
The bottle contains 4 fluid ounces, and I expect it to last at least 50 washes based on what I've used so far. I do like to use a lot, so there may be double that in the bottle for some. I was also excited because the bottle can be taken on an airplane in your carry-on!

Top problems?

The top looks good but is hard to open and when useing strength it pops off. Is this normal? any one have the same problems with the bottle?

Yep, I covered that in my review. First time I pulled the cap up I popped it right off, but it popped right back on too. Mine even looks like it's about to fall apart but hasn't yet.

The only cleaner I've ever used that was made specifically for toys was WET brand's Keep It Clean. I still use it and swear by it, you can read my review on it. It cleans thoroughly, does not leave residue, rinses clean, smells awesome, and it's a foaming cleanser which makes the bottle last forever and provides a more thorough clean on anything that has a texture to it. I have the Butterfly Kiss and the butterfly part has wings, antennae, and several lines etched along his belly. Keep It Clean gets in there just fine. On a side note, I was cleaning him the other day and his wing slipped from between my fingers and flicked soapy water in my eye, haha. So I can also say that Keep It Clean will not burn your eyes, at least not from a small amount.
