Zoe massage lotion - lotion discontinued by Luz de la Riva - review by debo

This product is a massaging lotion. The bottle says it has natural ingredients and fresh fragrances. It is to be used externally. This is something you want to use with a partner someplace that you can relax and de-stress. The product list includes several types of oils so you may want to check on this before you purchase in the event you may be allergic to something in it. The list of ingredients is as follows:
Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit (Rose Hip) Oil, Simmandsai Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Quanternium-79 Hydrolyzed Silk, Vegetable Glycerin USP, Citric Acid, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Sodium Hydroxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol.

The bottle is small and smooth with a pump. The picture on the front of the bottle is of a naked woman wearing heels so not something I wanted sitting out for my kids to see. The lotion is typical for lotions, a bit thick, silky, not greasy feeling at all considering the ingredient list is mostly oils, and it absorbs quickly. I was able to use one hand to apply the lotion to my husbands body. His only complaint was that something in the lotion made his eyes water a little. I'm not sure what that might be as there is nothing in it that would normally cause this to occur.

This is not a product you want to taste but the smell of the wild orchid lotion is sweet and reminded me of roses. I typically do not care for fragrances as they usually cause me to have a headache but this wasn't a bad scent. The smell lingered for quite a while but was not overpowering. I noticed the next morning that there was still a light hint of the aroma in the bedroom. When I applied this to my husband's body he commented that he liked the smell of this lotion.

I massaged about two squirts of the lotion on my husband and began rubbing. The lotion rubbed in easily and smoothly, It felt like a massage oil but wasn't as greasy. The lotion adsorbed fairly quickly and as I rubbed it continued to be a smooth massage. I did add more lotion as I continued to rub more of his body and I loved that the lotion wasn't sticky. I did wash the lotion off my hands before going to sleep as I didn't want the smell of it to keep me awake and it washed off easily. The lotion did not stain the sheets. This product did exactly as it was supposed to and I will use it again.

This lotion came in a clear plastic bag that was tied in a knot which was easy to open. The bottle of Lotion is slim and easily held in one hand. It has a push pump top and it is easy to use. The lotion comes out easily but before I could use it I had to turn the pump till it popped up. This is to keep it from leaking out during transit which worked great. There were no instructions included in the package but there were some on the bottle. This is not a discreet bottle at all but would blend in with other bottles of lotion sitting out maybe on a dresser or stand. This bottle is small enough to be suitable for travel.

This lotion does not really add sensation, other than the slight burning of my husbands eyes from one of the ingredients. It just smells nice. This lotion comes in three different scents. I used the Wild Orchid and the other two scents are Cherry and Marrakesh. Below is the list of natural oils used for each one and the description of this massaging lotion.

Marrakesh Notes: Pink Pepper, Mandarin, Geranium, Peach, Lilac & Amber.

Wild Orchid Notes: Capucine, Vanilla Orchid, Cattleya Orchid, Clemetine, Camellia, Hydrangea, Musk, Soft Woods, Blackberry, & White Amber.

Sweet Chérie Notes: Peach, Melon, Apple, Jasmine, Musk & Ambergis.

This is a delightful product that I think many of you will enjoy.

This is a sweet smelling lotion used for the purpose of massage. The scent is a bit strong at first and lingers but as the scent fades over time it leaves a nice calming smell in the room. I love that it wasn't a greasy lotion and adsorbed quickly into the skin. It did not leave any greasy residue on the sheets and washed off my hands easily with soap and water.

I enjoyed the massage I received from my husband as much as he enjoyed the one I gave him. This lotion feels wonderful on my skin, I did rub some on the back of my hand first to check for any possible allergic reactions but after some time and no reaction we continued on to the massage. The smell is strong but not overpowering and fades in time leaving a nice scent in the room. I would recommend this product to anyone.
