The Hitachi Magic Wand massager was given to me as a gift, and I couldn't have asked for more! Upon opening the box, I slid out and unwrapped this hefty massager and gave it a good once over. The head is a soft plastic that has a slight squish due to the foam padded lining separating it from the handle. The plastic is not irritating or so hard that it would rough you up after a good amount of play. It can be detached with some craftiness though it might never fit the same so I would suggest wiping it off after each session CAREFULLY with a paper towel with soapy water, one with regular water and then drying it off. The white plastic head will discolor with use, or that has been my experience with it.

My first time with the Hitachi was an interesting one. Let me preface this with saying that you will need to build up a slight resistance before you use this toy. If you are sensitive or not used to strong vibrations, I would suggest waiting a few days between uses or you might end up sore or irritated. I have yet to turn my Hitachi on high. Otherwise the toy is very strong, the vibrations are distributed through the white "head" of the product and are enough if pressed and rubbed against the clit to create intense orgasms.

Many people suggest purchasing an attachment with this wand to keep it fresh and fun, but I would personally suggest maybe accompanying it with a plain (or realistic) dildo for intense orgasms. I have a couple of attachments but I always go back to using my Basix dong with this for mind shattering orgasms.

Some examples are riding the dildo and intermittently switching the Hitatchi on and off teasing your clit to build up an intense orgasm or holding the wand at the base of your dildo for truly resonating vibrations.

I would recommend this (and I have!) to anyone who is interested in a long lasting and strong "massager." Its simple design hides the fact that it can indeed be a jack of all trades if paired with the right toys and gets the job done steadily on its own.

The Hitachi is still the standard to which I hold all other vibrators to. I know that isn't quite realistic but it just shows how much I enjoy it. If my hitachi should up and die on me, I'm buying another one. No question. I doubt I could be without the quick fix of my Hitachi. I still haven't ventured into the high setting, but I'm content with my trusty low setting orgasms.
