This little piggy went wee-wee-wee all the way to bed.

Touting itself as "foot foreplay lotion", Intimate Organics blends all-over moisture with a scent unique enough to make a mark on your senses. Light enough to be used on your entire body, it excels at making those piggies happy. So after finishing your foot care, your or your partners hands will be left grease-free, and you don't have to worry about running off the market for some roast beef; you can head straight to the good stuff, instead.

extremely useful review
I just finished writing the counter-part to this, the body soufflé, I have been postponing writing both of these reviews for nearly two weeks, trying so hard to figure out how to explain the smell of cocoa bean and goji berry. The cocoa bean is a nice dark chocolate scent, deep and heady. The goji berry is not a scent I've ever smelled before. For me, this is the fruity version of patchouli, recognizable anywhere, but hard to explain. It's sweet, while still remaining earthy.

This isn't really packaged at all, and comes like other lotions do, simply in the bottle. When I opened the package, my nose was suddenly happy. The scent is a tad different from the body soufflé, being less earthy, and more sweet. When squirted in my hand, it's thick and smooth, lacking any annoying oily texture. It's thick enough to not have to re-apply to the feet too often, but not thick enough that it could be a pain to absorb into the skin. I really enjoyed this because it's also the type of lotion that I can use on my elbows, knees, and feet alike -- any tougher skin that needs a bit more moisture than usual.

My husband gave me a foot massage with it and he said he didn't smell girly or feel greasy afterwards, which is a major plus. It's sexy to give your woman a foot rub; it's not so sexy to go back to work and smell like you rolled around in your girls frou-frou basket. I love it because it's light enough to let him use all over my body, and unlike its counterpart, it doesn't turn me a bizarre color. This lotion actually does have a nice shimmer to it, but it doesn't add color, at all.

It advertises itself to be made with certified organic extracts, which is true. However, it still contains materials that many people are allergic to, including glycerin.

Follow-up commentary
Months later, this baby is almost gone, and back in my cart to buy a second. I love the smell, love the moisture it provides, and even though I don't rely on only this product, I enjoy it often enough to keep it stocked in my bathroom. Between this and my plethora of body butters, my piggies stay happy and I don't have to go broke in the process!

I had to look up what patchouli was. I had never heard of it. Would you say this would be good enough to help feet and elbows that are already dry and cracked or only good enough to keep healthy feet/elbows moisterized?

@mpfm: hrm. This isn't extremely thick like Eucerin or other medical-grade moisturizers, so I am inclined to lean more towards "good enough to keep healthy feet/elbows moisturized". That being said, I have gone through a couple of phases with cracked heels myself (I grew up in Hawaii, and tend to be barefoot -all- the time, so it's a natural side effect), and I have found that -no- moisturizers helped me. The only thing that rid my feet of cracked heels was a pumice stone or one of those cheese-grater like things for your feet. If you attack the rough patches with the stone and then slather on some lotion, this may do the trick, since it has healthy skin to attach itself to. Cracked skin is generally dead skin, so there's no reviving it. Hope that makes sense.

I had no idea what patchouli was either, other than that great review. I just added it to my wishlist.

Aside from the glycerin this product seems amazing!

I'm sorry you two don't know what patchouli is, but I can't explain the scent any other wood. It's like sandalwood - unique to only itself.

Ahem. Any other WAY. Thanks, iPad.

Appreciate the full ingredients list. If it weren't for the glycerin I'd try this one- patchouli is one of my favorite scents.

I'm almost out of my Cake foot lotion and I've got my eye on this one. Thanks for posting this review, always nice when you can get a lotion that doesn't end up feeling greasy

The Cake lotion is on my list for my next purchase, so I'll have to go track down your review

  • Intimate Organics Foot Foreplay, Coconut/Lemongrass
    • The coconut/lemongrass fragrance for this item has been listed as out of stock for some time now. The fragrance is still listed on the product page, but is no longer an option when you do a search for this product. Is this fragrance discontinued? Or is EF choosing to no longer carry this fragrance? If so, I will take it off my wishlist. Thanks.

Oh I hope not! I've been wanting that for a while too. I'm hoping it's just taking a while to restock.
    • That particular scent is discontinued.
