The Hitachi is often considered to be the holy grail of vibrators and don't doubt it! With both the low and high settings being extremely powerful, this wand is definitely not for the weak of heart. I've often found myself disappointed with other toys because the vibrations just weren't up to par but with the Hitachi I can only handle the low setting. I even noticed a bit of desensitization on my part if I used the wand too often or for too long. I even tried using it while wearing a pair of underwear and it worked well to keep myself from overstimulation. I find that wiping the head off with a damp towel is sufficient for clean-up. Be careful if you use it for too long though! As I said, it can cause desensitization and an almost death grip-like situation but it can also start to heat up too much if in use for too long at one time.

I have yet to use the Hitachi with a partner but the possibilities are exciting. My partner has said that while I used other vibrators during sex he was also able to feel the vibrations going through me, so I can only imagine how the Hitachi would feel for the both of us during couple's play!

I've heard reviews saying it was too cumbersome and heavy to use easily or in different positions but I haven't had any problems with this. It's larger than I expected it would be but again, it hasn't been a problem. I especially like that you plug it in for use; now I don't have to worry about the battery wearing out!

The only problem I've encountered is the noise. It's loud! I have to limit using it to when my roommate's out of the apartment. Unfortunately, our walls are pretty thin.

Out of all my toys, I've enjoyed the Hitachi the most. Its use is limited to clitoral/outside stimulation but it's a reliable toy and hasn't let me down at all.

Still as amazing as ever! Only drawback is I have to time it around my roommate's schedule, it is just way too damn loud to use without total apartment privacy!
