The Body Charms-stars by California Exotic is a set of two adhesive stars with crystals attached to chains that you can use to decorate any part of your body.

The information page says that they are plastic but I believe that the star base is a very lightweight aluminum or metal like that. The star is 1" from top to bottom and from side to side. Mine is purple. On the back of the star is a cut out of double stick tape, one side attached to the star itself and one side that attaches to your skin.

There are three silver chains attached that are various lengths: 1) 1 1/2" including one purple crystal bead. 2)Middle chain is 2 3/4" including 2 purple crystal beads. And 3) is 2" including 2 purple beads.

The length of the entire design is 4" long and 1" wide at its widest point on the star.

It is nice and the way that the chains and crystals sway when you move looks great.

I peeled off the backing to one and made sure that my skin was entirely dry before placing one on my stomach right below my belly button. It looked great and I was able to jump around with it staying in place. I pulled on a sun-dress and headed to my mother-in-laws to help her feed her horses. Herein lies the problem, I live in Texas and it has been averaging 101 degrees every day for a while now. The sticky pads on this are NOT designed to survive the sweat that this kind of heat produces. It lasted all of 15 minutes with me sweating before falling to the ground....in front of my mother-in-law. The things that I do for science!

They really are pretty nice but the sticky pads leave a lot to be desired. If I am wearing them I intend to sweat at some point during the night. I will try again with an adhesive and see if I get better results from them. I'm sure with a little trial and error I will figure out what will make them stay better. If not I will stick them to a mirror or window and just look at them.
