Organic lip balm smooth stick - lip balm discontinued by Evolution of Smooth - review by freud13

If you have chapped, dry lips, this lip balm is for you. Even if you don't, this is still a fabulous lip balm to purchase. It has a wonderful texture, scent, and taste. It doesn't leave your lips shiny or sticky, but instead leaves them very kissable and smooth.

The lip balm is all natural and organic. It is not tested on animals. There is a low risk of allergy to any of the ingredients, but I always recommend that people read the ingredient list before buying a product. This particular lip product contains the following: coconut oil, olive oil, beeswax, jojoba seed oil, peppermint oil, shea butter, stevia leaf extract, Vitamin E, citrus oil, and organic scent. The product is certified organic.

The combination of all the oils, shea butter, and Vitamin E leaves your lips feeling rejuvenated and soft. The mint and vanilla combination have a cooling effect and leave a subtle trace of scent and taste on your mouth. The product does not contain sunscreen.

The texture of this minty fresh lip balm is perfect. It can be challenging to find a lip balm with a good texture that is neither slippery or waxy. I am always on the search for a lip balm that leaves my lips soft and kissable without being goopy, sticky, or overly shiny. This lip balm hits the mark. As you can see in the above photo it left my lips with a slight sheen, but nothing shiny. It feels very soft and cooling. It's great for hot, summer days especially if you are prone to chapped lips. It has a nice consistency that is creamy and moisturizing.

The taste and smell of the lip treatment are both a vanilla-mint combination. It has a nice balance between cooling mint and sweet vanilla. The mint is great for cooling dry, chapped lips and the vanilla balances out the mint, making it very kissable. The scent and the taste are both very light, and my partner enjoyed it very much when kissing. It is subtle and delicate, making it very feminine.

I have another peppermint lip treatment from EdenFantasys that I love, but it came in a large, bulky container that will not fit into my pants pocket. I rarely carry a handbag, so I like to have lip balm that will fit easily into a pocket. This one does just that.

I am very satisfied, and I feel that this product performs very well. The balm comes in a nice, plastic tube that you twist from the bottom to dispense. The balm rolls out the top to apply. It has a creamy texture and leaves a slight sheen on your lips when you first apply it. The lip treatment absorbs quickly into your lips, leaving them smooth and velvety. You don't get as much balm in the stick form as you do with balms that come in pots or other containers, but with this product, a little goes a long way. I find that I do not have to reapply the product often. I usually reapply every 4-5 hours. It easily washes off glasses if you are drinking a beverage while wearing the product. I love the taste/scent of the product and how soft it made my lips.

This balm comes in a package that easily fits in the palm of your hand, pants pocket, or handbag. It is packaged in tube form with a thick plastic. It did not come with user instructions, but it's easy to take the lid off and turn the bottom to raise the lip balm out of the container and lower it when you are done. It is suitable for travel and will easily tuck into an overnight bag or a gym bag. I would not leave this in a hot car or any extremely warm place, as the lip balm will melt.

The balm has a cooling sensation and left my lips feeling slightly tingly due to the peppermint oil. I found that the vanilla sweetness nicely balanced out the mint flavor and scent.

I would highly recommend this product. It is my favorite lip treatment of all that I have bought in the last year or so.
