The Hot Heart Massager was not at all what I was expecting from it. From the name, I had assumed that it would have some sort of vibrating mechanism within it, making it a self massager. I'm not really complaining, however, as I find many more uses for it without a vibrating mechanism.

When I opened the box that this came in, it was wrapped in a plastic bag. The heart is made of PVC, and is filled with a pink jelly-like substance. There's a small silver disc that you can see inside of it. To activate the heater for the first time, simply squeeze the silver disc inside of it, and flex it back and forth, until crystals start to appear inside of it. As soon as the crystals start spreading, you can feel the warmth beginning immediately. The feeling of the massager changes slightly as it warms, the crystals cause it to become harder, which is how this can be used as a massager. It stays hot for about a half hour, and warm for another half hour. As it cools, it becomes harder, but while it's still warm, it can be made a bit softer by simply massaging it with your fingers.

Thankfully, this massager can be re-used. To reset it to the un-used state, simply put it in boiling water for 10 minutes. The crystals dissipate, and it goes back to its jelly-like state. To re-activate, just follow the procedures from the beginning. However, be sure to allow the massager to return to room temperature before activating it again.

I have to say, while this was different than I expected, I really enjoy it. I have only used it by myself, but I could see it being wonderful for sensual massage between couples. I find it to be wonderful for use during that time of the month, to help with cramps. It's really a useful little item, especially for the price. It really can't be beat!

If anything, I love this even more than I did when I first got it! It's my buddy and never leaves my side, especially during my "womanly time." It's great for cramps, sore muscles, or even just for warming your hands on a cold day! I can honestly say that every woman needs one of her very own!
