Way down yonder on the Chata....Coochy.

I love the strong fragrance. But the product just isn't worth it. Nice filler gift or for when you want to pamper yourself.

Pros
Smells amazing, great bottle design.
Cons
Cheap recipe, can be toxic. Small bottle size for price, not good for sensitive skin.

extremely useful review
Coochy Shave cream offers a heavy viscosity similar to a thick conditioner. It comes in multiple scents, in my case I bought Pearberry. The scent is strong but not long lasting. You can also buy it in the other offered fragrances such as Original or Green Tea. Coochy arrives in a 4 fl.oz press top bottle it's recyclable frosted, It is shipped inside a plastic bag from Eden to prevent spill over. If you travel I suggest you do the same. The bottle seems to stay in place and doesn't get slippery when wet. It easily fits into the palm of your hand and measures 6" inches tall, 5" inches around and 1 1/2" inches in diameter.

Coochy claims that "is both Rash and Irritation Free! Leaves your skin Smooth and Soft...Great for the whole body!" is this true? And if it is- how?
Well It probably has a lot to do with the ingredients:

D.L. Water I am assuming 1 dL (= 100 mL) is what the 'D.L' stands for noted on the ingredients. Anyways, water is used as a solvent, in which it dissolves many of the ingredients. It also helps to form emulsions thus combining ingredients.
Steralkonium Chloride* is an anti-static agent, a surfactant and an antimicrobial.
Cetyl Alcohol* keeps an emulsion from separating into its oil and liquid components. It can also used to alter the thickness of liquid products and to increase foaming capacity or to stabilize foams.
Stearyl Alcohol* acts as a lubricant on the skin surface, which gives the skin a soft, smooth appearance. It also reduces the tendency of finished products to generate foam when shaken.
Hydroxyethylcellulose works as many things, adhesive, binder, emulsion stabilizer and a viscosity increasing agent.
Glycerin Stearate SE is another lubricant for the skin’s surface, it helps prevent the loss of water from the skin.
PEG-100 Stearate* is an emollient and emulsifier.
Jojoba Oil is a natural moisturizer with soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. It also has It also has anti-bacterial properties. It also tricks the skin that the skin has enough oil and helps to stop production of oil, it works amazing for acne because of this.
Lanolin** while a great moisturizer is also great at helping to form emulsions
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice a natural moisturizing factor. It improves hydration and soothes the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
Keratin Protein as an essential amino acid that helps restore any skin condition.
Panthenol is a form of vitamin B5, used as a moisturizer and lubricating compound.
Allantion is very moisturizing and keratolytic, meaning that it causes keratin in the skin to soften. It also helps heal burns and wounds.
Methyloparaben* is a anti-fungal agent as well as preservative.
Fragrance* mmmm smells!
Propylparaben* is a preservative.

Experience
I did use it in the shower, I shaved my legs, arm pits, bikini and it worked fine. It is nicer to use then most foaming shave creams gels. It glides nicely, it smells phenomenal (pear berry), the bottle is great, I love the fact that the sticker on the bottle wasn't one of those cheap paper ones. Ya know? It was plastic therefore it wont shed in my hands when wet. I loved that.

But I don't think the pros out weigh the cons. The ingredients are less then desirable, and the shaving cream gets stuck in the razor blades, the bottle size isn't amazing and its over priced for what it is. Another drawback I found is that its not all that moisturizing. I started to itch as soon as I got out of the shower, I had that itch where if you don't apply lotion NOW your skin feels like it's going to tear apart. That is a deal breaker for me.

Coochy has a lot of moisturizing properties which is great, by why aren't they long term? My skin felt nice in the shower but as soon as I got out it was a different story. Lanolin is an amazing moisturizer and works great and preventing rashes what is the bulk of coochy's claims. But it seemed that everything else in Coochy counteracted all the good. Over all it's not worth it, really. It's made with cheap ingredients. For example Steralkonium Chloride was actually to be used as a fabric softener and the toxicity reports for Propylparaben are intense. I cut myself when I shave, a lot. I don't pay attention and am almost always in a hurry. I can't honestly say that I want Propylparaben seeping into my wounds when I gash my ankle open with a 4 blade razor.
Follow-up commentary
Yuck. Too many chemicals for mediocre results. You can get th same effect with conditioner or even a gentle shave cream for a quarter of the price.

Interesting...my wife's has aloe vera in it and this one doesn't. I thought for sure the aloe was a vital component for all the formulations..

Thanks for the very informative review! I have this (in the green tea scent) and I like it, but I agree about how it can clog razors sometimes.

Thanks for the review. This is actually the only shaving substance I've used that doesn't wreak havoc on my skin and make it super dry but I'll chalk that up to different body chemistry.

I totally agree. I am glad it works for you, but for me, not so much. I have sensitive skin when it comes to bath products, and would think that if other people are sensitive then they will probably have a reaction to this, as I did.
That's what is great about these reviews. Different strokes for different folks.
