Weekender Kit by Kama Sutra contains a wonderful collection of Kama Sutra’s most popular products including The
Original Oil of Love, Sweet Honeysuckle Honey Dust, Sweet Almond Massage Oil, Love Liquid Sensual Lubricant and the Spearmint Stimulating Pleasure Balm in sample-sized containers. The Oil of Love is a sensual
warming lubricant that is uniquely flavored with vanilla, chocolate and a hint of cinnamon. It warms slightly when massaged in, but is best when blown on or licked, making it ideal for oral play. It has a luxurious sensual flavor and feel that enhances intimacy and is excellent for female masturbation as well.
The Sweet Honeysuckle Honey Dust is an excellent product that is just as functional as it is pleasure-enhancing. The base is cornstarch which is naturally absorbent and is often used as a safe and natural alternative to talc or baby powder. It is best known for its sensual properties, however, and is made from powdered honey that has a pleasant flavor, especially once it has absorbed into the skin. It comes with a small handmade feather applicator that can be used to apply the powder to the skin or for sensual and tickle play.
The Sweet Almond Massage Oil contains a combination of several natural oils including almond, grape seed, and pistacia vera seed oil, all known for their skin-softening properties. It is not at all greasy like some massage oils and absorbs easily into the skin leaving it soft and revitalized. It is excellent for sensual massage and has a silken texture and glides well over the skin’s surface. It has the subtle scent of almonds which makes it a good base oil in Aromatherapy when mixed with other essence oils.
The Love Liquid Sensual Lubricant is a water-based lubricant which is longer lasting than many
water-based lubes I have tried in the past. It is unscented, dermatologist tested, and doesn’t contain sugars, making it ideal for women who are sensitive or prone to yeast infections. It also does not get thick or gelatinous, but simply absorbs into the skin.
The Spearmint Stimulating Pleasure Balm is the only product in the Weekender Kit that I had any issues with. It is a stimulating balm that uses peppermint oil as the active ingredient. Kama Sutra also makes a desensitizing balm that is used to numb the genitals (mainly in men) for prolonging arousal and premature ejaculation. This balm is supposed to be used for stimulating the genital area, however, by providing a tingling sensation. I found this product way to strong for my sensitive clitoris, and it actually burned. I would recommend being very careful with pleasure balms if you are sensitive, however, for it is meant to be used in moderation.
With the exception of the pleasure balm I would highly recommend the Weekender Kit for lovers who would like to try out some of the best Kama Sutra products, without purchasing the larger quantities. The kit is very small, making it great for travel and weekend romantic get-aways. It is one of the best selling Kama Sutra products in the sex store where I work.
