Leaf towel - towel discontinued by Leaf - review by Naksetamun

Well, I have little recollection of exactly why I have these towels. I think it was on sale for buy one get one free.

The towels are hand-towel sized, squares, and though they look soft, they are actually rather rough terry cloth because of the stripes that sort of alternate fuzzy and bare on the towel. Each one is true white and all cotton. They have a sort of flat piping all around the edges that keeps the edges neat, but also seems to have been sewn too tight and they kind of pucker up no matter what way we stretch them out.

I have contemplated ironing them in order to make them lay flat. Besides the edging, the only other feature of these towels is the flat band of white with a bright green leaf and the word leaf printed redundantly alongside.

They are used for post-giggity cleanup, having been purchased from an adult site it seemed only fitting to use them for adult things, right? They are more than absorbent enough for that kind of clean up. They are a little rough to be using on the sensitive bits, but that's fine for us, we like it that way. I wouldn't use these as washcloths or in the shower because they are thick, so absorbent and get so full of water that it's kind of weird. They take forever to dry when hanging because they hold so much water even after wringing them out! Besides that, you don't really want to rub the stitching of the embroidery on anything. It's really not a comfortable feeling.

They go in the washing machine and dryer with the clothes and linens and are stored in the toy chest.

What I liked the best about these towels is that they arrived without any plastic packaging, just a band of nice brown paper to hold them rolled up. This is preferable to plastic, boxes or tags just because it's nice to not have tons of waste to throw out!
