I was so excited when I saw this item. I have some health problems and tend to be in pain a lot of the time. Heat is one of the main things I use to help me make it through my day. I have used all kinds of heat packets and have a huge spa set full of all kinds of different things. I love this item the most though.

Clean up:
When I saw them out of the package I thought "yay, how easily I can wash this down with a baby wipe after each use and call it good." Turns out I was wrong. Yes, you are able to wipe them down and throw them into a drawer or anything like that, but what I like to do is boil them. By doing this I know they are clean and they are also ready to go when I want to use them next.

Use:
I found them dummy proof. All you have to do to heat up is bend the little disk inside. Then the gel changes colors and they heat up. For me they are not too hot , but always use cation when using heat. It is a good idea to use a wash cloth or something to protect your skin from burning. Now in order to use them hot again you must boil them in order to reset them.

Taste:
No idea and I am not licking them.

Smell:
When I opened up the package it just smelled like plastic to me but not super strong, or a smell you don't want to be around. It had a new product smell.

Feel:
It was amazing. I guess it could be described as a velvety feeling. They are very, very soft.

Weight:
I do not have a scale at my house this small and I forgot to look at the package before I threw it to the recycle. If I had to guess I would say maybe half of a pound.

Other usages:
I only use this item for a heat to help me feel better. I love to use the heat to rub the back of my shins to help with cramping. I am sure you can use them in the "bedroom" to help get you in the mood. I would not put any thing on them. They slide around very nicely. If you could not live without any type of lotion, you are able to use anything that you would like with these. I would recommend using your favorite massage oil.

This item is heaven to me. I love that is is so small and can be stored any place you would like. I keep it in with my spa stuff. I use them just about every day for muscle soreness. They have become a staple in my at home spa station. I love they heat and in my mind they feel just as amazing as a hot rock massage. This is the best item I have bought in years.
