Magic Wand Original - large wand massager by Vibratex - review by SweetSaffron

We've all heard about the Hitachi and its wondrous abilities. While I love intense vibration, this was not quite right for me. I like some nice pinpoint stimulation, and I wasn't quite able to achieve that with the Hitachi, as the head delivers to too broad an area, even if I only touch the corner-like edge where the side meets the top to my clit. I did use it in tandem with an insertable toy, but I was barely aware of the insertable even being there over the Hitachi's vibrations. It'll be a useful option to offer from shows, but I feel that I'll benefit from some of the attachments that I've seen offered that allow the Hitachi to do things it normally can't.

I wasn't too excited about the short cord - the nearest outlet for me is between my bed and the wall, and after being brought through the headboard and to my body, it was just barely long enough. When I stuck an extension cord in the plug so that I didn't have to keep crawling back there to plug in my lamp, charge my phone, etc., I was able to use my Hitachi with much more freedom in my range of movement. I would definitely say to count on needing an extension cord for this, but most households have plenty laying around the house.

Per the product page, the Hitachi is plastic, though I've seen elsewhere (thank you, Google) that the head is vinyl. It has an interesting texture; almost like those rubber balls you played with in gym class. It's compatible with any lube you would wish to use, and you may want to suggest your partner(s) get their own, as you may not wish to share!

Cleaning is super-simple - a quick wipe with a damp cloth should suffice. I normally store my toys in Sugar Saks, but this doesn't fit in one, so it just goes in the fabric bin my toy bags are in, which slides right under my bed. The size does make it a bit difficult to store discreetly, but if snoopers aren't familiar with sex toys, it's just a back massager, right?

I have purchased an attachment to use on my Hitachi that helps to pinpoint the stimulation, and it's amazing! I highly recommend trying one. The one that I found was purchased elsewhere, so I can't link to it, but there are several available on EF that offer targeted stimulation.
